「This was our second stay at the Mews because we loved it so much the first time. It is the perfect, cozy refuge to enjoy the beautiful sights of Kilkenny. Mel is a wonderful hostess and was very prompt to respond to our questions and needs. A++」

「This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided.」

I am a long-time solo traveler and have stayed in all kinds of rentals and hotels through the years. After arriving, I wished I could just just stay in and enjoy the place rather than continue with my travel plans. That would be a great idea for an Irish staycation.
