We vacationed over the Christmas break with our extended family… grandparents, parents, and children. This house had the perfect setup for our family. The adults stayed in the upper bedrooms, and the kiddos had more than enough space and activities (pool table, ping pong table, tv) in the basement area to keep them occupied. The living area is spacious, as is the dining table, and easily accommodated our large group. We were all pleasantly surprised by the stocked kitchen, plenty of pots, pans, glasses, spices, paper goods, etc., and the heated flooring made it especially cozy on cold mornings. After a long day of skiing, the hot tub was a welcomed sanctuary to relax and soothe our tired bodies and was a big hit with the little people as well. The view is spectacular from the covered porch and also inside where there are plenty of large windows to soak it all in.
The only somewhat problem we encountered, which was our own doing, was not having AWD on one of our three vehicles. The signs stating “AWD or chains needed” is not simply a suggestion. However, after adorning our tires with said chains, we were good to go.
I can’t say enough about the beauty and tranquility of this space, and the owner was great as well. He provided an abundance of information about the property and was very responsive to inquiries. We were all sad to leave but vowed to return during the summer to enjoy it again and experience all it has to offer in a different season.
