I expect more from a professionally managed property. The listing gives the appearance of being a well-appointed and comfortable home nestled in Oregon’s wine country. Its basically a dilapidated house with an attempt at an updated paint job right next to a busy highway that was under construction all hours of the day and a pretentious restaurant that was never open. The only saving graces were that it was mostly clean (except for the army of sugar ants in the kitchen), the bed was comfortable, and it’s close to the amazing Red Hills Market. Vacassa, the only way to connect to you is via a phone call. It’s 2021, please make messaging an option. I’m on vacation and don’t expect to have to conduct business via a phone for simple things like appliances that don’t work, a toilet that runs, and ants in the kitchen drawers where there should be cork screws. It’s wine country, one should be on the list of amenities in a vacation property. Add to this, exposed wiring because of missing wall plates, unreliable WiFi, and a shower door made for people shorter than 5ft, this property needs some serious attention to detail.
