Victorias Suites Hotel
3.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (7)
"This hotel was wonderfully comfortable and reasonably-priced when you consider the comfort of the rooms, the A/C, the breakfast buffet and transport from the airport (not to mention great wifi - which is available in much of Peru but is usually mediocre or unconnective). It's a relatively new space, so everything looks great - I hope the management always keeps it like that! The staff are very courteous and capable, unlike many other lodging spots in the city of Trujillo. The manager is...

Suite Plaza Hotel Residencial
3.0 star property

"Friendly but staff did not speak english. But location is fantastic, perfect! However if you are a light sleeper it will be a bad choice for you because you can hear everything absolutely everything outside and neighbors. A poor guy was really stomach sick first night and we felt really sorry for him, it was like he was in our toilet."

Plaza Trujillo Hotel
3.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (17)
"This place is awful. Very loud you can hear the neighbor use the bathroom. All the sounds you can imagine. The disco next door blares music all night. They put someone next to me despite the floor being empty and they talked all night and you could hear every little sound. One hour sleep. Blood stains on the sheets. Avoid!"

Plaza Trujillo Hotel
Residencial Munay Wasi
2.0 star property
6.8 out of 10, (7)
"The location is convenient and staff was friendly and helpful but the facilities are lacking everywhere: the mattress was old and uncomfortable, the sheets thin and did not fit the mattress so if you moved around they would come off and you ended up on the gross plastic mattress. The shared bathrooms were not kept very clean and there never was hot water. The breakfast is hardly worth mentioning with day old buns, margarine and powdered milk, and on top yoi also have to take care of every...

"Front desk person spoke English well, breakfast was decent. Air conditioning didn't work in room, two smoke detectors were constantly beeping loudly all day and all night, WiFi frequently disappeared, hot water was rare, toilet didn't flush completely, no remote control for the TV. I'll never stay again. "
