"We really enjoyed the location. Restaurants and cafes at your doorstep. But the rooms are very small and while there is garage parking, it’s pretty snug and not conducive for larger vehicles."

"The location was very convenient, right in the Gaslamp district and close to the baseball park. The hotel is less than a year old and everything is nice and clean. The room was a good size and comfortable. The hotel didn't seem very busy when we were there and there were no issues with noise. There was a much-publicized daily happy hour from 4-7pm every day, but when we went to the bar they said it doesn't happen on ball game days, which was every day of the three we were there! "This historic building is lovely. Being an old building, the rooms are slightly small but quite livable. I loved the in-room Nespresso coffee maker. The San Diego Zoo and Balboa park are very nearby and easy to get to from here. "

Room was similar to any hotel setup with a bit more kitchen available. The price was about 30-40 cheaper than the same surrounding traditional hotels. The location was perfect right by little Italy.
