"It was nice to have 6 restaurants within a block of the hotel. The quaint downtown area was 2 short blocks away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the valet service so parking for us was not an issue. "

"Visiting a hotel off season often shines a light on the features of a location that might otherwise be missed. In this case it was the people who were determined to see to it you enjoyed your stay. The restaurant staff was great, the rooms were well attended to, and the ocean views were spectacular! I want to extend a huge shout out to JERRY. Before we even arrived at the hotel Jerry helped us reserve the rooms that lookout at the beach. He greeted us warmly and knew our names when we arrived. He took our pictures in front of the Christmas tree and was always at the ready! The people who work at Ashworth By the Sea made the difference between a good time and a great time."

"I was very pleased with the staff, convenience of the location and of course the cleanliness too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in the seacoast area. Close proximity to Portsmouth and Boston. We will be back! "
