"I am retired and have a bad knee. But my aches and pains were less while out by the pond. I love the quiet and nature showing itself everywhere. Great site for star watching too. We saw one shooting star the first night. Good glamping. Even my old dog, Emma, loved walking around and around the camper on the leash. "

"My 2 adult daughters and I met there for some time together! My daughter who lives an hour away has two very small dogs and I picked this place because it had a fenced in yard! The yard was very secure! Downtown was a short walk!The neighborhood was nice and quiet! The kitchen was well equipped and they provided an assortment of amazing snacks to enjoy! We highly recommend this place the host was incredibly helpful and every detail was thought of and taken care of! This is a great cottage...

"This place was perfect for our needs. The house was clean and comfortable on every level and anything we could possibly need was already provided! The view was great, we loved to drink our coffee and watch the sun rise and moon set on the back porch. Charlie, the dog, was so sweet, we loved his visits, my kids wished they could keep him! "Our family’s 4 day stay at the Downtown Goldmine was beyond our expectations, in the best way! This gorgeous home was spacious and comfortably accommodating for our family of 7 adults and 2 teens. "This property/cabin was perfect for our short visit.1 block off old town, easy walking distance. Visited Washington(town) off 49 to the north and back down to Grass Valley. Nevada City still has an old town feel to the old town area. A little disappointed in Grass valley, it's lost that. Sure the buildings are old but the closure and modernization of old town just lost a lot of appeal for me."
