Stayed here a lot of times, this last visit, the room was outdated and very dusty, killed a few spiders in room. No comforter, just sheets, glad we brought our own blanket for car ride Italian restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed the arcade and ice cream parlor just disappointed in room with the amount we paid

Our recent stay at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa was just ok. The property is spacious with a beautiful lake. The front desk staff and concierge staff were lovely. Due to the size of the resort, getting around was a chore. Although there was a shuttle around the property, it was hard to catch it. Our group spent a lot of time walking. It was disappointing that the resort didn't offer any shuttles that left the resort. It seems like such an easy way to offer guests a better experience. We would have greatly appreciated having a shuttle option for basic things like the Walmart that was a mile away. Or for Sea World which is really close. We spent a lot of money on Uber rides just to do basic things. This is one of the main reasons that we will not return to this resort. The other reason being the excessive costs for food and drinks throughout the resort. It was approximately $15 per cocktail and they were made with cheap liquor. At the waterpark, I ordered a drink that said it was made with Breckenridge vodka. But, I watched the bartender poor Bartons vodka into it. It was really disappointing. I stopped ordering drinks after that. My recommendation to anyone planning a trip with their family would be to place a grocery and liquor order at the local Publix and have it delivered to your room. We stayed in connecting Deluxe One Bedroom Villas. They were spacious and clean inside. They had full kitchens with diswashers and washer/dryers.
