"Don’t be seduced by the pool or view. There are no bins as you have to take away your own rubbish although they give your a barcode to dispose of it. There is no air-con and it is quite dirty as you can see in the pictures. Also no wifi in the property but we were told we could access it outside by using the code in reception but its really slow when working. The kitchen area was small and quite unuseable and also you are not provided with any cloths, detergent or tea towels to clean up with but...

"The property is in a rural and private location. There is a nice patio with a well maintained pool overlooking a valley and the sea. The views are impressive. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Visitors should note that there is no a/c. This is usually fine, we had a few very hot days in August that made the nights uncomfortable. "We stayed at Porto Istana for 10 days and it was an outstanding experience. The home is well appointed with everything you will need for your stay. The pool area, BBQ and outside living space is absolutely perfect…not to mention the VIEWS! It is possible to walk to the beach - a bit of a distance but we did it many days. There is a great bar called Geko that serves cocktails and great pizza / lunch. You will not go wrong choosing this home!"

"The beach resort is a step up from glamping, nice layout very well maintained gardens, pool is really fabulous and you can walk to the beach we’re you have access to a sunshade umbrella and beach beds. The beach like most in Sardinia is amazing clear water and great snorkelling. The resort is geared towards local tourism, mainly italian coming over with their cars. While the accommodations are clean they are well worn and can do with an upgrade. Very basic service get got clean towels and sheets...

"Donato’s house is great. It’s in a superb location for the beach. The beach is superfine white sand and at the Cala verde end it’s stunning. The house is on a holiday village type arrangement. A play park for toddlers. The house is 2 bedrooms. The second room is small and like a mezzanine but fine for kids. The attraction is location to the beach. It’s quiet and peaceful set in trees.
