"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"Perfect location, cozy bedrooms and a wonderful stay. Spent 6 days in Newport right before Christmas. Could walk to almost everything and when we drove the parking spot was a huge plus. We really lucked out with the weather & had several beautiful days. But even on the last rainy day we walked & shopped all day. My kids loved having their own rooms. The beds were very comfortable, the upper deck was a huge plus even in winter. I appreciated the space heater by the bathroom. Newport is...
