"My wife and I were hosting out-of-town guests and family for our son's wedding in nearby Farmville. This turned out to be an ideal location. The host was always easy to reach for questions well in advance of our stay as well as during. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, plenty spacious, and great for meals for a larger group. While the nearby farmhouse is older, it has had some great updates (the kitchen is really well done) and it worked perfectly for the overflow of the several guests we had....

"I cannot say enough about this property, the inside is stunning and loved all the details. Nicole made sure we had everything we needed and more. The outside property is vast, we walked and hiked twice a day. The road that goes up the hill allows easy access to the top of the trail. You can venture off on the side trails which lead you back to the main. We packed our snacks and food so we could fully take in this beautiful property. This place is gorgeous and the porch, wow loved the rocking...

"This is an awesome place very private clean and well maintained plenty of space and well stocked perfect for a romantic weekend or an unwind in nature with the family. It even had some homemade cinnamon rolls waiting for us upon arrival and they were delicious. We had such a great time and will be staying again "

"The location is private. The cabin is nice. The towels are a little lacking. They were super thin and frayed. There is no ice maker so that would have been nice to know in advance. The internet is pretty slow. Were the tv not dependent on internet because it’s all streaming it wouldn’t be a problem. Hot tub was nice. "

"Such a nice place and perfect for our stay. Easy access and a nice, quiet neighborhood. Easy to communicate with owners and so polite. We had a fabulous time!"

"It was more rustic than I had anticipated. The bathroom was outside of the cottage. The shower and faucet pit out only a trickle. I doubt if this place passes code. There were extension cords everywhere. The plumbing pipes were flexible hoses. The electricity comes from.an extension cord from the house next door."

"We really enjoyed our week in the forests of Virginia. The place was perfect for a small family vacation.The quiet in the forest was a refreshing and relaxing setting for a getaway. The family enjoyed all the relaxation areas on the property and the hot tub in the evening. "

"Nestled in the rolling hills of Virginia, this beautiful home offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests are greeted by a picturesque countryside setting and a tastefully decorated interior with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. If you're looking to visit the area west of Richmond Steel Magnolias provides a wonderful location to unwind. Jenny was outstanding in communication to make sure we had what we needed!"
