"Location was excellent - great view of the main high street from the lounge window. Comfortable apartment within easy walking distance of the lido, great pubs and cafes, Little John's grave etc! Main bed had integrated TV in footboard - great feature as long as you're shorter than 6 foot 4"! "

"Acer Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area. Tideswell is peaceful yet very well served with essential services. It was a treat to find the Merchant’s Yard just steps away and the bakery was great too. The cottage itself was equipped and furnished to a high level and communication before arrival was excellent. "This a nice little house in Alferton, it was great for myself, a friend and my large dog. It was well equipped and comfortable. It was a little dated upstairs and there was no photos of details of the bedrooms but they were clean and well catered. My friend who stayed in the back room noted the boiler (which is in that room) is very noisy and kept her up but that wouldn’t bother some people. "Perfect house for get together with large bedrooms 5 of which are en-suite and many with single beds which makes for great flexibility depending on the make up of your group. Large group spaces in kitchen and living room with a great conservatory too. Also on direct bus route to Derby and area. Everything a large group could want. Owners live next door and we’re very welcoming and helpful."

"Lovely property in a peaceful location. Facilities were great, lots of care has gone into providing a very comfortable holiday home. The hot tub was wonderful at the end of a day out exploring. The welcome bottle of prosecco was a lovely gesture. We all had a great stay. "

"It was okay just a few constructive comments, 1 no toilet paper in Brothers toilet, 2 Coffee, Sugar, Tea tins need refilling 3 , Window Sills could have done with a clean apart from these items all was ok and the Host was very pleasant"
