"Good communication about how to access the property as I arrived after reception closed. The apartment was well equipped and it was ideal for one or two people, but though it claimed to be for 4, two couples would have found it very uncomfortable, with one couple in the double bed and the second couple inches away on the sofa bed. It was disappointing to arrive at 11am and have to make up my own bed, and though the hotel was far from full when I arrived, I was given a room which looked out onto...

"The property is located in a quiet residential street near to some local shops and about a mile on foot to the Vieux Port - a lovely tree lined stroll. The house is small but perfect for two people. We only used the ground floor - bedroom, shower, wc, kitchen and a nice sunny sitting room leading out into a small garden. NB Access to the basement accommodation is via very steep stairs. Only practical for the young and nimble! The house is a good base from which to explore the wonderful port town...

"The property near Dolus in D’Oleron is atypical for the area . It is a ranch style with loads of space, and different areas both inside and in the garden to enjoy. We had 12 people in the property for part of our stay and did not feel cramped. Arnaud was very welcoming and helpful. The pool was perfect and the air conditioning useful at times. Altogether a very charming place to stay - we hope to return in future!"

"The apartment was in a great location and provided (almost) everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The sheets were very old and faded and there were no towels (despite them being specifically mentioned on the apartment description). We were told by the owner that we were entitled to compensation for this since we had had to buy our own, but this has not happened. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen although it was all a bit old and mismatched. It was a bit cramped for two adults and...

"A good base from which to explore the area. The shops and beach were within walking distance and we enjoyed lots of walks with the dog along the beachfront. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the outside space was secure and safe for our dog and cat. An enjoyable stay, thank you!"
