For sure a family and friend winner! We had enough space, the beds were super comfortable! It is a perfect location just minutes from the beach. Lots of privacy and space. We will be staying here again!!!!

Stay for a bachelorette party

Great house for all of the girls. Amazing set up and perfect location. Easy to Uber and walk to the beach and close to a trail for walking/running! Kitchen lay out and bed room lay outs were great - couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Great home for large group.

This home is beautiful. There is plenty of space to have many people together but also big enough to have privacy. It really feels like home which is great. 3rd floor has a wonderful set up to entertain kids, heck even the adults enjoyed it with the kids on the rainy day we had. This home is wonderful!

Gorgeous, huge house

The house was the best part of our spring break vacation - first flight and seeing an ocean for all 10 grandchildren. Perfect house, giant eat in kitchen area, plenty of beds and room for 10 kids and 18 adults! They lived in the pool area alot of each day.

Stayed here with 10 adults and 4 children and there was more than enough room for us, our groceries, luggage, etc. The house was stocked with plenty of towels, extra bedding, kitchen gear and games. We enjoyed the pool and it was a very short walk to the beach. It’s also beautifully decorated. We appreciate being able to check in early and the option to stay until 2 since we flew out of Destin in the evening.

Great house but some maintenances issues

Waterdog 1 is a beautiful house and in a good location. Our family of 16 stayed for a week and there was plenty of room for us all. Unfortunately we encountered a number of maintenance issues during our stay. If the owner addresses the issues (which I have raised with them) I would recommend this house

Great home, location & amenities- but no oven or grill

Home is beautifully decorated and well suited for large families or groups. Pool and yard were great and well maintained. Location is perfect and close to everything. Only disappointed with the rental company as we were never actually able to speak with anyone-only text and never did the oven or grill fixed so we were unable to cook. Other than that, house was amazing & would definitely book again! It’s beautiful!

Crab island trip

the house was absolutely beautiful, beds were comfy, plenty of space for everyone. we didnt get to use the outdoor patio because we had a storm our first day which knocked out the Heat for the pool and the hot tub. we are waiting to be credited back for the difference from VACASA. other than that no complaints. I would definitely book this house again

Absolutely Perfect!!

Location location location, we loved the location of this property!! Close and convenient to the beach, walking/running path, stores and restaurants. Home was absolutely beautiful and so spacious, we had three families with 6 teens between us and a five year old and we all had plenty of space to hang out together but also to enjoy some alone time. Loved all of the gorgeous outdoor spaces and hope to get to stay in the property again in the future. Definitely recommend this home!

Family fun time

Well, Mom and Dad are 80 and 82 years old, we wanted to allow them to spend some time with there grandchildren and great grandkids, it took us some time to find a house with a room in the first floor, your house was perfect, one bedroom in the first floor, for mom and dad, Olson everyone had a room and bathroom. And we had a great time in the pool and game room.

Destin Vacation Home

The property itself is stunning, and not a long walk from the beach. The cleanliness of the home was excellent and there are no complaints regarding that. Unfortunately, there were several issues reported during our stay that were not addressed timely or at all. The stove/oven did not work during our 4 night stay, and our group had purchased groceries for cooking. The hot tub also was not heating up, and the ice maker on the third floor was frozen and not operational. Although the hot tub issue was remedies timely, there was poor communication and no correction made to the other issues (stove/oven, ice maker, broken toilet seats). The rental company was notified about these problems via text and phone call, however when asked, they would not provide me with a timeline for correcting the issue, and the issues were never remedied. Addditionally, the rental company was not accommodating regarding an early check in request due to flight changes.
