Initially when we checked in everything was cool. But then quickly realized that there was zero sound barrier between where we were staying and the neighbors downstairs. Could literally hear every word that they were saying in a conversation, and sometimes the noise would go on until 11:00 or 12:00 at night

Pleasant stay
Overall our stay was pleasant. I chose this VRBO because it had a fenced in back yard for our dog. Upon paying for the reservation I found out that the dog was not supposed to be in the backyard. The property manager he said we could use the back yard but the three People living in the basement of the house come and go through the back gate and yard. We used the back yard a few times for the dog but mostly walked him on a leash. The house never seemed warm primarily because the thermostat was programmed for no one being in the upstairs of the house and we would turn it up but it would go back down when it was programmed to do so. I emailed the property manager about this but no action was taken.

Peaceful Area, Nice House
This area is very quiet and nice. There’s a city schedule for sweeping streets we weren’t aware of prior to booking. The property manager wasn’t aware of this schedule but knew it was monthly and you’ll be TOWED if you park on the street. We discovered the street is cleaned on the first Friday each month. We discovered this because the City of Denver was knocking on the door early on our first full day there (after we worked nights). Apparently no one should be renting short term p, according to the city. He informed us of the sweeping schedule, although it was NOT that day. He seemed to be inspecting if there was a short term “rental” since cities monitor that closely online. So that was awkward. FYI. Also there’s a man living on the lower level apparently? But this wasn’t disclosed prior. Thank you.

Lovely house
Beautifully restored house with nice appliances in a neighborhood that’s walkable to many parks and Sloan’s Lake. Host was generous with basic supplies. Communication with host was not timely but host seemed nice.

We were very pleased with the property. There was a small issue with the front door lock, but the property manager responded quickly with an alternate solution and was extremely helpful and friendly! We loved all the appliances, especially the washer and dryer as we had been traveling and needed to do laundry. The neighborhood was nice. We would stay here again and recommended to others
