Get the "Best of Both Worlds" with this charming lakefront cottage on a quiet circle in Dennisport, Mid - Cape Cod. You have waterfront access right outside your back door with gorgeous views of Swan Pond and conservation land. Spend time on the lake or visit Sea Street and Glendon beach 1.5 miles down the street. Swan Pond is about 1.5 miles long and connects to Swan River - which connects to the beaches and the ocean on Nantucket Sound. Fish, kayak, canoe, sail, windsurf or just relax on this very beautiful lake, it’s up to you! The cottage has a new deck, paved patio and a private back yard that is spacious enough to entertain or just relax while watching the gorgeous views and wildlife. Swan Pond is known for its great fishing and canoeing. This pond has no public access for motorboats, so it’s very quiet. The cottage has 3/4 bedrooms, (NEW), Loft - with 2 single beds, one bath, outdoor shower and can sleep up to 8. It’s newly refinished with NEW floors andcomes with a canoe, 4 kayaks, (NEW) 6-person aluminum rowboat, microwave, cable TV, WIFI, Roku Streaming, washing machine, dryer, kitchen supplies and grill. It’s a great way to enjoy the Cape Cod lifestyle. The cottage is conveniently located to the beaches, bike trail, and restaurants (Chapins, downtown, Sunday School, etc.). You can even walk to Clancy’s Restaurant.

A beautiful property
We loved our stay on Indian Trail. The house looks small from the outside but it is very spacious with 4 bedrooms. It is very clean, quiet and extremely comfortable with every amenity you could want. The view over Swan Pond is gorgeous and we spent many happy hours sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. It is in a great location for visiting all areas of the Cape which we did. There are lots of really good local eateries nearby. If you enjoy canoeing and boating this is a perfect spot. We would highly highly recommend this property and . communication with John was great.

WE loved everything about the house. I can't think of anything that would be lacking in amenities. My husband had just had a major surgery so he recuperated in place while we visited the cape. He had a wonderful spot to watch osprey, egrets, swans geese etc. The house was very clean and although I seemed to have a VRBO glitch John rectified matters in top time. Thank you!

This cozy home was an amazing place to spend a week with my family. The yard was perfect for us plus our extended family to play and visit. The plethora of watercraft and lifevests made our time on the pond so relaxing. Great location, well appointed home. Highly recommend!!

House was beautifully situated on a saltwater pond. Found horseshoe crabs and blue crabs all week. Lots of nice outdoor spaces to hang out and kayaks, canoe to use as well. House was as described and clean. We would certainly consider this house again. Thank you.

This cottage on Swan Pond was lovely. From the outside the home appears as if it is small. However, once inside, there is so much space! There were plenty of rooms and bedrooms for our family. The loft was a big hit with our teenage girls. The back patio and deck area were wonderful to relax and enjoy the views of the pond. Our family paddle boarded and kayaked on the pond and also enjoyed the hammock. The pond isn’t really for swimming due to how shallow it is but being on the water was great! Thank you for such a wonderful vacation.

Fabulous yard
Had a great stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. The backyard was Amazing!! We loved the patio sectional couch, could sit there all day. Only suggestions would be newer beds and a new outdoor firepit. I would definitely rent again.

Lovely cottage like feel
My husband and I stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary. It was quiet, serene, and private. We loved the backyard, the location was great to get to stores and restaurants and the inside of the home was comfy, updated and super clean. We will be coming back. Also, such a bonus that check in is at 2pm, it really allows you to enjoy your first day there. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely cottage with a beautiful view
We had a great experience! What a wonderful family vacation! My Dad, siblings, and nieces and nephew got together for our first family vacation in years. We had plenty of room and comfortable places to sleep. There was plenty of space to have dinner as a family--inside and out. The cottage is on the beautiful Swan Pond and we were so happy the swans paid us a visit in the yard. (We also cormorants and herons and even little bunnies in the yard.) We kayaked and went fishing from the property which was amazing. The whole backyard/patio setting was beautiful. Be sure to check out the sunrise. Such a great space. Not only was the outside beautiful, but inside the cottage was so pretty and had many modern conveniences like wifi and a two televisions (which came in handy on the few rainy days). The cottage is on a quiet street. It's conveniently located near several good restaurants, shopping, mini golf, ice-cream, and several beaches. I highly recommend this property. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely home in beautiful location
This house radiates the love that has been put into it by the owners - it is comfortable, tastefully appointed, and very homey. We have found that not all properties are as listed online, but this was even nicer than the pictures. The pond is a nature lover's dream. As kayakers, it was wonderful to not have to cart ours, because there are 4 on the property already. The daily presence of egrets, herons, kingfishers, swans and the call of an osprey lifted our spirits. It is a slice of the Outer Cape on the Mid-Cape! Our grandsons LOVED catching (and releasing) crabs and tiny pond dwellers. We loved returning to the super comfortable patio, hammock and outdoor firepit after exploring and beach visits. We plan on returning as soon as possible!

Wonderful stay
We loved staying here. Location in MidCape allowed us to visit the entire area. We loved the view of the pond and it actually was much bigger than we thought. We rode the bike trails, visited Provincetown, took the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Went to an amazing beach. We rode our bikes in the neighborhood and took out the canoe. I would not hesitate to book this property again

Great place has everything! We had 8 women and shower after shower with PLENTY of Hot Water!!!
Great place everything was perfect! Everything you need is there and more!!!! 8 women stayed and PLENTY OF HOT WATER shower after shower!!! Our ages range from 27 to 75 so the younger women stayed up-stairs it's very cozy but the stairs are kind of tricky. I called John to ask a question and he was very helpful and polite. Truly the Best of Both Worlds
The house was just as described, clean and tastefully decorated in a beach theme and well maintained. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The air conditioners cooled the entire house nicely. We enjoyed the five seating areas in the yard. The pond was perfect for kayaking. The outside shower was handy. Our favorite beach, Mayflower, was just an easy scenic drive away. The owners were very helpful, and responded quickly to our emails. This is an exceptional rental ! We had a wonderful week !

The quintessential Cape Cod Cottage!
It has everything you could want in a Cape Cod stay - water front, quiet location but near lovely downtown Harwichport, beaches, entertainment, and restaurants. Plenty of sleeping room, cedar shingles, blooming hydrangeas, two patios AND a deck, and an outdoor shower! Would definitely rent here again.

Perfect first trip to the cape
Had the best spring break trip with our kids. The place was clean, efficient and had everything you needed. The backyard was very peaceful, kayaks, hammock and we even had a visit from a beautiful swan. It was central to everything we wanted to visit and just enough space for all of us. Beautiful spot on Swan pond
Our family is familiar with this section of the Cape. This very nice home was on the end of swan pond. The access was fabulous and the amenity of kayaks, a canoe and row boat made water access so easy. The last day a swan mom dad and baby came upon the lawn to visit us! Sunsets so beautiful.
