At two stories, the main floor offers an open concept living area, with a newly updated kitchen with quartz countertops, large dining room table and living space accompanied by a gas fireplace. This home is warm and inviting, with oversized cathedral windows that offer an abundant amount of natural light. The main level has glass French doors which lead to the front patio. The front patio is complete with a BBQ and plenty of seating for entertaining and dining Al Fresco while taking in the sight of the tall trees and ferns that surround the property.
Main floor
The main level has two bedrooms; one with bunk beds offering a twin bed over a full bed, and a queen bed in the other. One half bath is located on the main floor, here you will also find the sauna.
Upper floor
The second floor offers a generous sized loft with plenty of room to play games and spread out. The loft area provides one bunk bed, which has a twin bed over a full bed.
One bedroom with a King size bed is also located on the second level. Here you can also locate the washer and dryer, as well as a full bath.
The home has an EV charger (Teslas - bring an adaptor) and a whole house backup generator for winter power outages.
Important Notes:
Parking: Limited parking available at this property. A Maximum of three vehicles or four small vehicles are permitted and they must all fit in the driveway as the HOA does not allow overnight parking on the road edge. Please make prior arrangements to meet this condition.
Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.
Technology: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet are not available. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There's also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online. Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy: We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions.
Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.
Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away). There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations. Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons. Please come prepared with provisions.
Gated Community / HOA: About Snowline Community Club
Snowline is a private gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and is one of the closest communities to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The community has numerous hiking trails both to Glacier and to the Nooksack River, a children's playground and kickball field.
The HOA requires gate cards for guest access, has rules for quiet hours, leash laws and a no campfire policy. Parking is limited to the vehicles that fit in the driveway perpendicular to the road.
**Please note that your rental may have limited parking availability. Carpooling may be required. Parking is not permitted on roads within the Snowline, Mt Baker Rim, and Snowater Community. Any fines accrued by the HOA in regards to parking violations are the responsibility of the renter.**
Luxury Getaways is required to register ALL vehicles that will be present on the property during your stay.
