Quiet Beach Front Cottage
The cottage was a little dated, but overall, was just fine. We were unable to use the television. WiFi would have been helpful. We enjoyed the setting at the end of the causeway was just magical!

Summer in Deer Isle
This property is suitable for two people. We enjoyed our stay on Deer Isle. It was fun exploring the island and dining in Stonington. We selected this property as it stated a private dock was part of the property. It was only later on that we were informed we could not bring our boat to use on the dock. (And the house manual stated the dock was not accessible.) The description was not accurate. We shifted our plans but were disappointed to not be able to boat around the area. The private dock wording should be removed from the description so as to not be misleading. Deer Isle is a beautiful place.

Maine week getaway
Enjoyed the remote cottage. Very peaceful! Only reason gave 4 for cleanliness was because we found some broken shards of glass on the kitchen floor and in the dining room by the window on the floor.

Gorgeous views with stunning sunrises and sunsets. Great kayaking. Nature preserve steps away for hiking. Beach across the road is not ideal for swimming. Near the main road, but relatively quiet.

Great location. Sit by the bay with a book and a glass of wine. Watch deer at night on the property. Within reach of the hiking in Acadia without the crowds and traffic. Perfect for a two person get away. Dining towards Blue Hill or Stonington offers many options.

First Visit to Maine
Loved our first visit to Maine--wonderful property for my husband and I that served as a great, relaxing way to explore the area. I loved the added bonuses of: Scott's Preserve, wild blueberries up the hill, milkweed with accompanying monarch butterflies and bees. Only thing that needs attention--the front wooden door sticks so badly that I couldn't open it. My husband had to open it. Can't wait to come back again.

Cottage was great for two people. Amazing water views from most living room & dining room. Very clean. In general VRBO should display a cost per night that includes all additional charges (additional renter fee, cleaning, taxes) versus a misleading low cost per night with additional charges added.

Unplug, unwind and watch the sunset.
This was the perfect cabin for 2. The most comfortable bed we've found traveling, full small kitchen but it's the views that make this place. Nearly surrounded by water, the views are wonderful and there's a small patio to watch them from. No iternet and very little cell phone connection, we didn't miss it.
