Family vacation
This house was perfect in so many ways! Decided on a vacation to the Black Hills with our 2 daughters and their families. The location of 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked out well. After a long day of touring we cooked dinner at home- well stock kitchen and grill was nice. We appreciated the deck and the hot tub also. We’ll be back!

good once cleaning was done
Arrived and house had not been cleaned from prior occupants. Contacted owner and he contacted cleaning person. Also contacted vrbo, received immediate response. Cleaning person arrived and did some cleaning. We did choose to stay in hotel that night and house was done by 11:00 next morning. Vrbo resolved situation to our satisfaction and rest of stay was wonderful. I would use vrbo again.

Would definitely reserve again!
Our stay was great! The nights were chilly, and propane on the fireplace ran out on night one, so that was a bummer, but not a deal breaker and the fireplace on the upper deck didnt work. Other than thatbthe kids loves the hut tub, and it was close to Lead and Deadwood riding trails which was great! Would definitely reserve again.

Great House in a Beautiful Area
This house was perfect for our needs. Large gathering areas, but good sized bedrooms for some seclusion. The hot tub was clean fairly private. The two neighboring houses are fairly close but not obtrusive. Easy to see Mt Rushmore and Custer State Park in a day. Even the Badlands were close enough to easily visit Don't miss a drive through Spearfish Canyon and catch a great meal at Cheyenne Crossing. We enjoyed our and this house was so beautiful and easy to relax in.

Great time for birthday getaway!
We enjoyed our four night stay overall and it’s a great property. The home provided adequate space and rooms for everyone. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the ping pong table. Hot tub works well, and we enjoyed the privacy and views. Since we had traveled and stayed a night ahead of scheduled due to the weather, we had asked about the possibility of checking in early (certainly not expected); she took our number and we never heard back from her. Driveway didn’t look like it had been plowed upon our arrival and it was difficult to get to the side entryway due to all the snow and no way to remove it before entering the garage. Driveway was eventually plowed a couple days into our stay. It’s a great location with short drives to everywhere we wanted to be.

Property was not cleaned and prepped for our stay.
Dirty refrigerator, water leak which made the home smell musty, coffee grounds left in coffee pot. Laundry left in dryer, garage was filthy and no functional broom to use. We needed more dish soap and paper products to accommodate the number of guests and length of stay. Over all, the property was not prepped.

This house was very clean and just perfect for our family and friends! Beautiful nature around and very relaxing! Hot tub was a hit! So was ping pong table!! Perfect location and close enough to everything! Loved it and will definitely come back! We visited the week before Sturgis rally and it was perfect!

Great house to fit our group!
We loved this property! Plenty of space for what we needed. Kids loved the hot tub! Location was great. The only downfalls included all propane tanks were empty when we arrived, but the manager came & filled them on day 3 of our stay. And the house could have used more bath towels for all the bathrooms & kitchen could have used more kitchen towels/dish cloths. All in all- great house with gorgeous views out on back deck!

Nicely updated house, bring your own towels though
The house was very nice. It comfortably fit all of us. There were a lot of dead flys that we cleaned out of drawers and where the plates were. There weren’t many towels, unless we couldn’t find all that were available to us. If the house had a good deep clean, I would have rated it higher. I also reached out to the property owner and never heard a response back awknowledging it.

Beautiful home but outdoor fire place does not work
This home is beautiful and the location is great! We travel to the hills 4+ times a year and enjoyed our stay HOWEVER, the outdoor fire place doesn't work and according to the notes left by other guests in the home, it hasn't worked for some time. We chose this home based on the fact that it gets chilly at night and we enjoy spending time on the deck so this was very disappointing. I sent a message to the manager of the property with no return message. Other than that this was a great place!

The 🏡 is awesome, beautiful interior, and suroundings. Clean and spacious even with 8 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 4 to 10 years old. Kids loved playing pingpong as well as the adult! 5 stars, my only complaints the highway was so close and the noise from the highway at times was very load with semi's, motorcycles, and car traffic; and the neighbors were so close and nothing to block the view of the patio/hot tub from either neighbor.
