"Aside from a large ladybug and fly infestation in the house, it was a fine stay. Just hard to sleep when being pelted by ladybugs all night. And as it got cold overnight, tons of dead bugs on the floor every morning. Great location on the water with views that made it worthwhile. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was comfortable, secluded, peaceful, charming and nice and simple. Totally chilled out and relaxed in the pleasant and beautiful lakeside retreat. Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Grounds were clean. Brought our dog, Zoey and she enjoyed it too. The getaway we needed. Thank you"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The grounds and view were fantastic. There was some issues with kitchen light, but most likely only needed a new bulb. There were plenty of fans available and the weather was beautiful, so that was nice to be able to have a cool breeze. Burlington was only 35 minutes and offers some great dining and shops. The ferry to Plattsburg was costly, but OK. We'd rent here again."

"Our stay was amazing. Our hosts were friendly and stopped by a few times to make sure all was OK. The cottage was clean and had everything we could need. The lake was about a hundred feet from the front door. The view was great and having access to the kayaks was wonderful. There are hiking trails about 5 miles away that our pup liked to run through "
