"Even in a rainy period in the autum we enjoyed our stay in this very Well equiped holiday home. Room for everything and “hygge” infront of the fire after a hike in the mountains... what not to like! First time in Vrådal but not the last."

"What an amazing place to stay! Our host was a fab guy He took myself and a friend out fishing in his boat and even gave me a guided tour of his lovely house! The property itself sits on a fabulous position of the lake affording amazing views towards the rising sun! The property was immaculate and we spent many hours just watching the wildlife and feeding the fish around the veranda! I cannot recommend this property enough! If you love outdoor life but with a few nice amenities then this one's...

"As a museum professional I think it is amazing that such an old building can be put to modern use but with respect for the old building. However our room was cramped in relation to the prize we paid for it, and it was very hot. The least the hotel could do in a building where installing AC is impossible, is to provide fans. "Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The bathrooms are recently updated, but the rooms are a bit dated. Bed was comfortable and clean. I would definitely book again. The location is gorgeous and was perfect for me."

"What an amazing place to stay! Our host was a fab guy He took myself and a friend out fishing in his boat and even gave me a guided tour of his lovely house! "The hotel was clean and comfortable with great service. The rooms are a bit small for 4 people but the kids said the sofa bed was comfortable. The food was great for breakfast and dinner but the options did not change the nights we visited. It is within a hour of a lot of local attractions and found out that the Olympic torch was lit at that location twice. The pool and hotel grounds are great for kids. They have sports and a play ground that includes a zip line. They also have electric car connections for a reasonable rate if you need them. Overall a very nice hotel. "
