"Lovely big house and setting for the family, just a couple of things which would have made it 5* could do with a few more chairs in the living room especially if you have 6 adults or teenagers with you. The floorboards upstairs were a little noisy. No electric kettle or toaster. Overall the house was clean and had most things we needed for our family holiday. "

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again."

"We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!"

"The cottage is beautiful inside and out, with a modern kitchen and gorgeous cottage lounge diner downstairs and lovely homely but modern double bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. A rare treat, nessled in a lush valley, with the sound of the river nearby. It was delightful in late autumn, it must be even better in the spring or summer, I'll definitley be back"

"Lynn and her team were very welcoming and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Being able to charge our EV overnight was also a huge plus. The apartment is ideally suited for short breaks and is not sure whether it wants to be a hotel suite or a self catering venue. That being said we were able to cook a lot of different meals, but a few more cleaning materials and equipment would have been welcome. "We loved staying at this beautiful cottage in such a beautiful location. It was so cozy and the surrounding area was everything we dreamed it would be. Janet and Mike were so welcoming and helpful. We felt like we were visiting family! The surrounding gardens and all the flowers are bountiful and obviously lovingly cared for. And we loved all the nature: bunnies, chickens, and sheep.
