“The hotel is old, no good maintenance, no hot water in the bathroom. I stayed this hotel many years ago, not bad but this time, very disappointed. I changed another hotel immediately after staying one night.”

“we travel from Bogota sonesta to Barranquilla sonesta, when we arrive, the lobby is good, room is good, but we can smell something like mildew, but not so strong. The location is at the north part of the city, 15 minutes walking to the mall, there is a asia bar at the lobby but only open after 4pm, they have good sushi. there is also an Italian restaurant in the same building of the hotel, right in front of Subway, food there is really nice too. “I received top notch service and attention at the hotel throughout. The restaurant was welcomed. I ate numerous meals there and always was greeted and served well and always enjoyed the food. I also received a delightful massage on site and on the beach. The beach at times was a little “sketch” and I was approached on the beach while simply walking to the water and asked for a propina by 2 thuglike men. Once you leave the pool and lounge chair area it’s a bit Wild West like and security……

“arrived at 1 pm and was told that the rooms were not ready yet, that we should leave our passport info and go have lunch first and when return all the check in process would be done already. went back at around 3 pm but no work was done, still had to wait for another 40 minutes to finally get our rooms. ”

“Fantastic property, rooms are very clean and lovely. Very well located in the Old City. Staff is fantastic and very willing to help. The rooftop bar is fun and has a lovely view the sunset. Some street/bar noise at lower level but not bothersome.”
