"Not good walkability "

"Prime location, comfortable bed, nice staff, huge TV. However, I seriously considered sleeping in the car after seeing that parking lot. It didn't seem safe to leave my car there, with all the scatchy characters wandering around. There might have been a homeless and junkie convention in town, or it just gotten so much worse since the last time I was in San Diego. At the end, good value for the money. Highly recommended if you don't plan to park there."

"The rooms were very nice and clean. I liked how cool it looked inside like homie. The only thing is the view of the homeless outside but besides that it was nice. They had lots of tv channel options. Will stay here every time i come visit from now on. "

"Great place to stay in San Diego and very comfortable accommodations. Great layout, nice to sit on the upstairs Victorian porch and could even get a glimpse of the water several blocks away. Easy access to everything, liked that there was a grocery store one block away. Hosts were fantastic with an easy check-in and easy check-out process. "Very good property overall. Steve was great at communication and his dogs are just awesome too. Glad we got to meet him. Really beautiful little spot and super easy to get around town and to the beaches from. "

"4 adults stayed for 3 nights and it was a good location for our sightseeing activities with very easy walking to Little Italy and into downtown. We didn't do any cooking so lack of a dining area/table was not really an issue for us but may be for others planning to make their own meals. Beds were nice and comfortable and bathrooms were fine. This area of San Diego does have a few unfortunate homeless folk around including tents on the opposite side of the road from this property but...

"This property was amazing. The communication was excellent and everything was exactly as expected. The downtown area of San Diego however, smells awful. Every corner of every street is covered in urine. This property was great, however changes in street cleaning or socialization services around homelessness need to be made. "
