Port A Get Away
We will definitely be book at this location again. It was so convenient to everything. The only thing is we we arrived early to Port A but weren't allowed to check in until after we received a call. That was supposed to be at 4:00 but we didn't get in until 4:15. Also, there is not a golf spot parking as advertised due to the owners golf cart being on property. So we parked our rented cart in the street with our vehicle and had no problems.

Overall, the stay was very good. I did not however, see a response to one of my queries. The place was immaculately clean, but had a few minor maintenance things. I would definitely rent here again.

Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, everything was nice and neat. Everything was furnished. After a day at beach and fishing, we sat at the patio and had a few drinks watching the sunset. We would stay here again.

Port A- Siesta Villa
Great little place. Both my husband and myself love the Spanish Village bungalows. Only problem we had was with the Internet. Managers tried to fix it but were not successful. As that was the only issue, I would still recommend this unit.

Great place! Close to everything. Parking is a bit tight but we made due. Only suggestion is to change the shower head. It feels like your getting pounded by a sprinkler full blast.

Great location, small house
The house is located steps away from all the restaurants and stores in the island. It's also close to the beach, 3 min away by car but it seems far walking. Please rent a golf cart during your stay, it's easier. What I liked the most was the fenced backyard for my dog and grill. They have a shower outside which make it convenient for pets and humans, so you get sand off.
The property manager also allowed me to make a change in the reservation, so that was really good.
Now, if you go with the idea of doing some cooking, forget it. They have a small stove which is not very powerful and it takes you more than an hour
to cook breakfast for two (sausages and eggs scrammbled, forget about pancakes, they are still cooking I think). This is not good to be more than a hslf hour cooking breakfast for two. No oven either, or dishwasher or washer and drier. Bathroom super small, especially the shower, so if you're rather big don't go here or you won't fit. Bed was bad as well, it moved, made noises every time we turned sides, pillows were throw pillows. Bad sleeping experience.
For me it's important the 3 things that were bad when renting a house for vacationing. Bed, bathroom and I wanted to cook at least breakfast and I couldn't. So I wouldn't go again.

Cozy remodeled cottage in town
Nice and clean cottage with nice sized yard for our dog. We love how close everything is to this unit. Not a far drive from the beach either. The unit does have more than one coffee cup! Shower does change in temperature only if someone else is using the kitchen sink. Bed is a little creaky but not anything that would keep you up all night.

Christmas Getaway
We have two small dogs and they were safe in fenced yard. They loved playing and sniffing the grass.
Internet and cable TV were good. I figured out remotes fast. The TV are fixed on wall and so you have to sit on sofa to watch.
The heat was perfect, the water pressure and temperature was nice. Only ran out of hot water once while husband was washing dishes.
It’s a roomy cottage. No carpet just like we like it.
The only negative is even though the mattress was sponge and soft the bed frame creaked like a farmers hayrack. The bed was good 2nd and third night for husband, me not so lucky.
Over all we like Port Aransas and hope to return again. We won’t come over Christmas as no restaurant serves for breakfast or lunch. TV dinners were filling. Happy New Year.

Tiny Home
We enjoyed our stay in Port Aransas. This house was close to bars, restaurants and shopping as advertised. It forgot to mention a few things I think anyone renting should know. 1) If there are more than one coffee drinker in your party bring your own coffee cup, this house only has one and the handle is broken my husband and I both drink coffee so we had to go get a cup for one of us (really you can’t spring for 2 coffee cups not broken?). 2) You must wash your own dishes before you check out (hmmm most places have a service for this) 3) WORST BED in any place I have ever stayed in including a tent! Bed squeaks, springs are poking you, it moves and shakes like a ride at a carnival. 4) Ladies if you need to shave your legs - the shower is not the place, it is about. 2.5’ x 3.5’ and you can barely raise your arms to wash your hair so shaving must be done in other part of this tiny bathroom HOWEVER the Water Pressure is Wonderful, just wish I could have moved about in it. 5) Back door has screws loose in lock so you cannot always shut the door unless you push the screw back in, we did not feel safe so put things in front of door to wake us if intruder were to come.. 6) Making the TV’s work was a job. About 1/2 the time we tried to use it cable was “unavailable”. We made the best of it and had a good time but will look for a new place to stay. Won’t be back.

We didn't want to leave!
We love Spanish Village and this was our first time at #24. It was perfect for our small family of three + our dog. We love the covered patio, the fenced yard, and the CENTRAL A/C!!! It was decorated enough to feel homey but minimalist enough to not have to worry about our 5 year old breaking anything. Echoing other reviews, the bed is a bit rough but we were so worn out from all the Port A fun that we slept just fine. We'll be back!
