Great for a late Spring Break
First time to the coast so didn’t know exactly where to stay. The house was great and the location is good if you want to spend more time in Rockport-Fulton. It’s a 45-min drive to Port A Beach. Only downside in the house is the mattress on the hide-a-bed. It’s exactly what someone should expect for a pull-out, but you do need to set your expectations accordingly. Neighborhood is super-quiet, and the screened porch is a great amenity!

Nice Stay
The place was clean and comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the screened in porch. The neighborhood was also fine and not noisy. I had one maintenance issue that took a while to resolve but was eventually taken care of. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again if I make it back to Rockport.

Great Rockport cottage
This was the perfect setup for a few days on the coast for our three-person family. The cottage seems to be brand-new (possibly a new build after Harvey), and is laid out well. Two bedrooms, each with a large bed, and each with their own spacious bathroom. A comfortable combined living room opening into the kitchen. Just enough kitchenware to do up some simple meals. Screened-in front porch facing west. Large carport so that we could park in the shade, and a hose in the driveway so we could wash sand off before coming in. Great location, very close to restaurants both in Rockport/Fulton and toward Aransas Pass. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Nothing's in walking distance, but everything is within 10 minutes of a traffic-free car ride.

The place is filled with cockroaches. It's disgusting. The cockroaches especially come out at night. We were traveling with a medically fragile child that needed to social distance or we would have moved out. But needless to say, I would *not* recommend this place to others until they fix the cockroach infestation.

Very comfortable
We really loved the home. We had access to everything we needed. I loved all the guides that were left in the kitchen and living room to help us with entertainment. We spent our evenings in the enclosed porch. I do recommend still wearing mosquito repellent because nature is sneaky. The beach was just a five minute drive (with cabanas) and there are nice little shops and restaurants. I recommend walking the Memorial Park, it was gorgeous. It was really clean and accommodating. The neighborhood was really quiet and if you have a rainy day the frogs chirp and its really cool to just watch them. It felt hotel like because they had plenty of toiletries. If we ever need to stay near Rockport this is definitely the place we will choose again. Thank you once again for being great hosts.

Great property. Clean. Close to everything.
I've been going to Rockport to visit my dad for over 25 years. This is the first time I needed a rental property for my party. Check-in/out was a breeze. The house is very cute and clean. New appliances and plenty of cooking items for extended stays. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom which is awesome when traveling with a teenager. The one complaint I would have is the mattresses are like sleeping on a bed of rock. This property is just a few turns from the Market St and downtown Rockport. From there you can easily find most everything to do in Rockport. Shopping, HEB, museum, harbor, beach, fishing guides, etc. The property management was very unintrusive and nice. Very nice place to stay and great location! Overall great experience. Would stay again!

South Pearl Sailfish House
The picnic table on the porch had to be wiped down. It appeared to not have been cleaned in a while. Most of the inside, with one exception, was well cleaned. But there was the refrigerator. That is a problem. It really smelled bad on the inside. My wife characterized it as smelling like dirty diapers. The interior light either didn't come on, the first two days, or later came on intermittently. And there was no light in the freezer. It is a side by side that was stuck in a corner. This means that the the freezer door can not be opened completely. I had blue freezing block drop through the grated shelf and behind a drawer which I could not pull out completely because of the door that would not swing all the way open. It was really hard too get that blue block out. We had wifi on Tue and Wed but lost it on Thur. and it did not come back on by the time we left on Sat. I could see all of my neighbors had service, but we did not. We just got these messages, when we tried to log on, that said service would be restored soon and to try again in a minute.

Cute cottage with screened in porch close to central Rockport. The car port was big enough for my 22ft bay boat and vehicle. And there is a hose if you want to rinse your boat.
