"My family of 12 adults stayed to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary and we could not have picked a better home in the most perfect location in the Outer Banks. We had plenty of room for our 3-night stay. The house was a short walk to the beach and various stores and restaurants just a short drive away. "

"This was our son's first trip to the OBX and my husband and my first trip in many many years. It's obvious that a lot of love and tender memories happened (and continue) to happen in this house. It was relaxing and instantly familiar. We were both teleported back to an easier time in each of our childhoods when things were slower. This house was warm and inviting and while the floors were quite dirty, it was no harm (it's the beach after all) and nothing a little sweeping of our own couldn't fix. We are particular about this sort of thing and bring cleaning supplies no matter where we go anyway, so not a dig on the property at all. We had one small mishap with wasps in the gazebo by the pool and hanging around one of the upper decks, but property management was SUPER responsive and sent someone over right away. Not a big deal or anyone at fault, we deal with this in our own home, it's impossible to keep them away if you have any kind of wood decking or gazebo. The only thing I will say is some parts of the house and exterior decking needed some TLC and upgrades. You can see where some of the decking is rotting and water damage on some of the ceilings in the bathrooms (all old/dry, however). Still, we would stay here again it has a FANTASTIC location near the beach, grocery store, shops + restaurants and water sports on the sound side right across rt 12. Literally a 10 min walk. We got to hop on jet skis and walk right back home."

"I have a large family and this was our first big family vacation in about a decade. There are kids and spouses that weren't around the last time we did something like this, so this trip was a long time coming, very needed and an overall wonderful time! The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. I don't think anyone was prepared for all the steps as the number of floors wasn't mentioned, but we chalked it up to getting our steps in. The pocket doors make sense for space, but they were heavy and hard for the smaller kids and my parents. Not having sheets for the entire stay was the only real issue. Personally, my family and I were unaffected by this and we used the blankets provided. We had a great time and cannot wait to go back next year for more memories. "

"Property was very clean. Convenient-within walking distance to the beach and stores. Appreciated all the amenities-beach wagon, chairs, sand toys, umbrella, pool, hot tub, gaming console just to name a few."

"The property is lovely, having been newly remodeled and very well equipped. I’ve stayed in many rentals and I’ve never seen a kitchen with so many sizes and types of pots, pans, dishes, and even plenty of baking pans, KitchenAid, blender, etc…. They even gave every person a bath towel, face towel, washcloth, and makeup washcloth. It was also very clean. The management was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. We highly recommend! Our only hesitation was that the beach seemed much farther than five minutes… especially when we were with little kids. It’s not a path the whole way but goes back-and-forth between grassy path and blacktop road. Even so, we had a wonderful time!"
