The Quarry Retreat is a uniquely private resort style residence situated on 20 acres in the most beautiful Martinsville Valley, only 2 hours north of the Sydney CBD and 25 minutes from the Hunter Valley.

The Quarry Retreat provides luxurious, private holiday accommodation surrounded by wonderful gardens and spectacular views of the countryside and private lake.

The property offers everything your heart, family and friends could desire.

And only 30 mins away from the beautiful Hunter Valley and wineries.

The facilities at the Quarry Retreat will ensure your stay is as restful, romantic or active as you seek.

Perfectly suited for two families of four split over two levels. The property has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and can accommodate up to 13 people with the use of an extra pull down couch.

The house is coupled with all the modern conveniences including wifi and phone service.

There is easy access into town for shopping, movies, Hunter Valley vineyards, sailing on Lake Macquarie and central coast beaches.

However, you will not want to leave after experiencing the breathtaking setting, seclusion and luxury of our property. Pack all your food and drinks and settle in for a wonderful stay.

Oasis in the hunter!
The property grounds are beautiful, and the house itself is super spacious, enough room for 10 adults (inc. 2x couples) to have their own space. Really well equipped kitchen, and while there is no reception from about 100m from the turnoff on the road, the wifi in the house is really strong. Would 100% book again!

Beautiful escape for the fam and friends
What a beautiful escape in the bush with everything you could ask for a long weekend with family and friends. We loved the place and would visit again. Perfect for kids too with the pool, trampoline and space to run around. We made the most of the tennis courts and pool even though it was getting chilly. Beautiful bush walks up the road too. Highly recommend.

AMAZING doesn't do The Quarry Retreat justice. Our family had the most wonderful time, we didn't want to leave. This place has absolutely EVERYTHING. This is hands down the best place we have ever stayed at. We can't wait to go back. Tracy was also a pleasure to interact with, a most wonderful host. If anyone is thinking of booking The Quarry Retreat, DO IT, you will NOT regret it. I've been telling anyone that will listen just how perfect it is.

THE PROPERTY WAS GREAT FOR US ALL. PLENTY OF ROOM. GREAT AMENITIES AND BEDDING. FANTASTIC POOL, TENNIS COURT ETC. WE HAD GREAT WEATHER ALSO. Perfect place for a getaway

Beautiful property!
8 of us stayed here for three days over Christmas. The place was perfect for a group stay with a well equipped kitchen, spacious living area and plenty of space to eat and socialise. The grounds are beautiful and the sound of nature when the sun goes down really allows you to switch off from the city noise and distractions! Excellent pool and tennis court area which was used every day for games and more socialising. The only con (which we’d expected from other reviews) was a lack of good wifi. Most of us were happy to switch off from the grid anyway but it probably wouldn’t be a great place to work from if you needed constant connection. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended property for groups and families alike! :)

Great Spot...
Great property, good facilities all in good working order. Really enjoyed our stay. The only negative was internet connection. Need to look into a solution that WIFI facilities is extended to the pool, tennis and cabana area. Too many times we needed to go back to the house to check phones and calls. We all have families so we couldn't stay in constant contact just in case of emergency
