"This place is a hidden gem! It was the PERFECT PLACE for our kids and grandkids to come and surprise my husband for his birthday!! It is well stocked with appliances and dishes etc. It was clean and cute. We brought ziplock bags which was helpful. My only complaint was we didn’t book it for longer…Seriously a great place to stay. The host had everything set up for the perfect experience to feel at home and create great family memories!! The loft area upstairs was perfect to watch a movie. Many cozy bedrooms. The deck was enjoyable to watch the sunrise in the morning. I highly recommend this place!"

"The owners were very careful to tell us that the place was rustic. Only solar power and gas heating and cooking. We were there for our 13 year old granddaughter to hunt for a buck. Saw many deer, but never a buck! It is a very old house and quite interesting. If you can't stand bugs, this is not the place for you. The owners are always close by and available if any problems arise. "
