"One of the better hotel in the area. Staffs were great. Very attentive service. Even the service in the cafe restaurant where they served breakfast and dinner buffet was great. Xiao Luo and Xiao Lai in the restaurant was very polite when I asked to pack some food to go for my daughter because she’s sick and was staying in the room. Five stars for service to all the staffs"

"It is located in a quiet area. A bit of a distance from the city, but that was not a show stopper. The concierge can always get a taxi to where you would like to go. The breakfast was good. Enough variety of western food, especially for choosy stomachs like mine. Special mentions, Gerry and Mimi at the concierge. Those 2 went above and beyond, especially with negotiating taxi fares and even giving us recommendations of where to go shop. Those 2, as well as the rest of the crew we interacted with, made our stay very memorable. Something to note although not related to Holiday inn, be cautious with the taxis. Always get your fare set before you get in the taxis. Some drivers are dodgy and will try to milk you dry. And do a gps comparison on your phone if you can to make sure you are not being driven in circles."

"I stayed at the Yunjia Hotel for a couple of weeks. All amenities and pictures are as described. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and are refreshed each day with towels, water, and tea. They provide an electric kettle if you need hot water. The beds have chargers for American and Chinese ports and also USB-A type ports, so you don't need to buy an adapter to plug your devices to charge. Beside the bed are light switches you can press, so it's easy to quickly turn on/off the lights or curtains. You can also ask the voice assistant XiaoDu to do it if you know mandarin. Very fun! The breakfast is good and you can request noodles. Mostly the same food each day. You can ask for a small take out breakfast (bread, juice, congee) if you are in a rush/buffet is not open yet. The most convenient amenity was the free shuttle bus to and from the airport. I used it every morning to go to the airport to use the metro and explore the city, and then at the end of the day to return to the hotel. The drivers are always on time and the wait for pickup is never long. You just need to book when you want to go to the airport and you can call them when you need to be picked up. All the staff are friendly and professional; I stayed with chinese speakers, so if you need to communicate with the staff, I recommend you use a translation app or stay with a chinese friend. I recommend this hotel if anyone is travelling to Guangzhou! Also lots of morning street food vendors outside that I tried. "

"Had a nice 5 night stay here. City is a 30 min srive but easy to get to using didi. Quiet hotel, comfy beds, nice view from balcony and great breakfast for the price. Big shower and good water pressure. Recommended for any stay in Guangzhou!!"
