BEWARE OF BREAK-IN'S! Our stay was filled with issues that left us extremely dissatisfied. The most alarming issue was the complete failure of the hotel’s security. During my stay, my car, along with eight others, was broken into in the parking lot, despite the presence of two security guards on duty at the time. This raises serious concerns about how such a large-scale incident could occur under their watch. The fact that two guards were on duty and yet nine cars were targeted suggests a severe lapse in oversight or, worse, complicity. When I reported the break-in, the staff offered little concern. As a gesture of compensation, the hotel only comped one of our two nights, which didn’t come close to covering the cost of repairing two broken car windows. Beyond the financial burden, the experience left me feeling unsafe and violated. Adding to the disappointment, the cleanliness of the room was questionable. Upon check-in, the beds looked like someone had already laid on them, and there were ice tea bottles on the floor which was both unsettling and unhygienic. These issues made it clear that attention to detail and guest experience were not priorities at this property. I stayed here expecting a secure and comfortable environment, but instead, I left with damaged property, additional expenses, and a sense of unease. The hotel needs to implement much much stronger security measures and accountability for their staff. I would not recommend staying here!

We have been traveling for lacrosse for several years. Our car got broken into during our stay. I guess this is a regular occurrence. They say there is security but weird they sit in another parking lot. I would not recommend this hotel, drive the extra 20-30 minutes to the complex. I wish Expedia would put most recent reviews up because I would have known. Staff was rude about the whole situation and we were not warned when checking in regarding this. I think 8 cars were broken into that night. We were told by police they’re looking for guns.

The hotel is lovely. It was just for a stopover on the way to Tulsa. However, the room we were first given had not been cleaned. Bed not made, towels on the floor, pizza box and fast food containers on the desk and 2 large bags of rubbish on the floor. Not at all the fault of the front desk staff. Once we told them, they issued another room which was perfect for our needs.

Good location. However, staff were unhelpful, it seemed like a chore when I needed help, room was super dark and no overhead lighting, window shade was broken and was unable to be opened so it was extra dark, no business area so could not use computers or printers.

We’ve stayed at many a Hampton Inn but this was frustrating and unacceptable. The area around the property was filthy. Garbage everywhere. We travel with our dog and couldn’t manage to walk him anywhere near the building. During our stay, several cars were broken into and had their windows smashed. On Thanksgiving day! I felt so badly for those people. And on another evening the police were called because of a person outside harassing guests. Inside was not much better. The room was clean in the barest possible way. We always immediately take off the comforter cover because we know they are not cleaned between guest stays. Underneath was a light comforter with holes, which looked like cigarette holes. Multiple outlets were not functioning. There were not many towels and the ones we had were the cheapest I’ve used thus far at a Hampton Inn. Thin, scratchy and small. The surfaces had not been dusted. The breakfast was inedible to me. The only thing I tasted when trying the eggs was salt. There was no one working the area. No water at all and no one to ask for water. The whole place screamed cheap and cutting corners. We will continue to stay at Hampton Inn, I guess, because it’s my husband’s preference but there are many others in the Columbus area. Pick a different one.

The breakfast was not up to the normal standards for a Hampton Inn. The food choices were limited, cold, and the staff could not keep the food supplied promptly. The room itself was fine, clean and comfortable. I will probably stay somewhere else, the next time I’m in the area.
