We loved fishing! The pond holds large carp, bass and catfish. We caught smallmouth over 15 inches with nightcrawlers and lures. Tons of wildlife! Beds are all adjustable, mattresses all comfortable, large bedroom TVs were great. Loved the basement game room!

Picture’s misleading
The pictures were very misleading. It’s a very muddy pond and you can’t even access the paddle boat bc of how dirty the boat was either. No furniture outside was useable. This is not a good neighborhood to be in with your family. The neighborhood and surrounding areas are terrible.

Unhappy in Columbus
I would like to give a huge shout out to your property manager. She was on the ball and went overboard to be helpful. When we arrived the house was not clean. There were areas that were missed. For example the dining room table had not been wiped down and still had crumbs and spills on placemats from the previous visitors. The dishwasher had not drained and had standing water in the bottom. She explained that there was a new cleaning crew and that they came in after a party. On the first night when we went to get beds turned down there were no extra sheet sets or blankets. We found only one pillow in the areas where the manual said we would find them. We managed by using the travel blankets we travel with. In addition, the beds did not have a comforter, only the sheet and a blanket. In the morning the property manager came and she got us the extra sheet sets we needed and blankets and towels. While she was there we asked her how to use two of the TVs in the downstairs bedroom and the main floor bedroom, as there were no remotes. She explained that there had been a party at the house and the remotes must have disappeared at that time. She also took the time to look at the upstairs bed that was tilted down at the head of the bed. She could not figure out how to fix it but offered to make the bed with the pillows at the other end so that my sister and brother in law were not sleeping with their heads tilted on a downward slope. In addition, we really wanted to be able to use the outside space but it seems that there is a wasp nest either in the siding or under the stairs. One of our family members has a severe allergy so we were not able to use that area as we intended. Also, the entire underside of the grill was missing which made cooking a challenge. Overall, we were disappointed with the house. We had picked this house because of the space and amenities. The updated TVs, which could not be used in two rooms. The outside area, which was limited due to wasp nest, The paddle boat for the kids, which was unkempt and missing the rudder. The sleeping space, one bed broke and on the first night not having any sheets and blankets. Which is truly frustrating since we were charged for an additional person. The house truly needs a good cleaning and many things need to be fixed. The kitchen cupboards have not been kept tidy at all which made it difficult to locate items. If you are looking for high end I would recommend you keep looking.

Friend Reunion
We chose Cbus this year to go somewhere different, as we usually stay in Sandusky or Huron. This is our 22nd year doing this. While we are able to enjoy our time together just about anywhere, I do feel the photos of this property were somewhat deceiving. Our entire party agrees that it could do an amazing house, but it looks as though every corner that could be cut....was. The walls and stairway carpets were very dirty. Not sure why the stairs had carpet, as it's nowhere else in the house. The walls desperately need repainted and whole whole place needs a thorough scrub down. The kitchen cabinets were uneven and one was held together with duct tape under the island. The outdoor furniture was covered in dirt and debris. We didnt

Great for large groups
We rented this house for my sisters bachelorette party and had a fairly good experience. A plethora of places to sleep, so many things to do and enjoy, and a beautifully decorated atmosphere were among the best parts. The host, Samuel, was very accommodating and friendly. We voiced some minor concerns with him and were immediately assured it would be addressed. The location is amazing, and overall this was a great fit for a weekend stay with a large group.

False Advertising
We reserved this home in Sept. 2020, nine months ahead of a family wedding. We were sold on the beautiful pictures and great reviews. Unfortunately, our experience mirrors the last review listed on May 28, 2021. While the beds were clean and comfortable, the entire home needs a thorough cleaning. We washed all dishes before using them and had to use hand towels from the bathrooms as there were no kitchen towels. The kitchen was well stocked with glassware and pots and pans but lacks any mixing bowls or bakeware for preparation or serving. One towel per 9 guests for a 5 day stay is not sufficient. As noted in the previous review, there were no extra towels, linens, or blankets. Another thing we found odd is that there are no closets in any bedroom. We had formal wear for a wedding with no place to hang it. We limited our patio time after several visits from the 3 raccoons under the deck stairs. The overflowing trash bin at the side of the house may have attracted them. This is a spacious house but poorly insulated with metal walls that allow sound to penetrate between rooms and floors. The grates, outlets and bathroom fixtures were loose and dirty. We won’t be recommending this home to others visiting theColumbus area.

Spacious BUT FILTHY!
Our overall impression was very disappointing! We could immediately tell the house was not clean at all. Within a few minutes of walking around the house our feet were FILTHY! Also trash and cigarette butts from previous occupants was found on the deck. We were only left the exact number of towels for the number of guests and not one wash cloth. Although the details about the property stated there were extra linens, pillows and blankets in multiple places in the house there were NONE to be found. The kitchen was identified as a commercial kitchen and it in NO WAY was close. The stove was vented directed into the kitchen leaving the ceiling browned above the cooking space. The kitchen was large but it lacked adequate supplies for large groups. We only had 9 forks and had to wash them as we used them or used spoons when we there was nothing else. Some cooking utensils were broken. The kitchen needed serving bowls, pitcher, crockpot, electric skillet, hot pads and towels. We were given one towel and two hot pads. I was nauseated by the fact that I had unstick the coffee cup from the cabinet shelf and found used towels in the bathroom cabinet (prolly still there because I wasn't going to touch them). The filth was everywhere!! Also, there was not extra toilet paper or paper towels as stated in the details. The iron was broken and had to be replaced. The grill was broken and unusable. When I picked up the register cover from the floor(had to open it to let AC through) I was grossed out by the amount of dirt, food and hair in the duct. There was also dirt under beds, cabinets, etc that could be clearly seen with the naked eye. Thank goodness the manager was quick in responding to all our needs for linens, towels, blankets, iron and offered a $50 refund for the broken grill immediately. Had I seen how filthy the house was too before that refund was offered.....I would have asked for more $$$ back for all the inconveniences and FILTH. The house had great space for a large group which was a huge plus but it did not outweigh the filth. VRBO, if I were you, I would take this house off the listing until it is has been cleaned thoroughly from floor to ceiling including the ducts.

Fantastic time!
Our small group of friends had an amazing time during our stay and the home was the perfect location. We were in town for a local hockey tournament, and needed a home base for the week. The check in process was a breeze, the house was clean and had everything we needed. Considering the size of our group, there was plenty of space to spread out and relax between games. We did our grocery shopping locally and used the well stocked kitchen to prep our team meals. Normally we stay in hotels during tournaments, but after this stay we will be back again next year!!

Great Family Getaway
My children, their spouses and I surprised my wife with a few days together. There was plenty of room for all 10 adults. The kitchen and dining room had plenty of space for all of us to gather comfortably and the outdoor area in the back yard was very peaceful. The beds were very comfortable! We spent almost all of our time in the home with just a couple of quick trips to the grocery store (less than 2 miles away). There is not much to do in the area, but we were looking for a quiet place to relax so this worked out great.

We had a really nice time. The home is beautiful and the game room was amazing. Of note, all the showers are on the top level of the 3 story home. There is a bedroom on the main level, however if you have anyone who has a hard time with stairs, this may pose an issue. There is a half bath on the main level. We had 10 people. It was not cramped in any way, and we were all able to enjoy space. I would definitely recommend this home.

Family Wedding in Columbus
This house is wonderful! It is in a very quiet neighborhood, which was key for us. We did not want a party-house, nor did we want to deal with disgruntled neighbors staring us down every time we walked outside (experience we have in our own neighborhood with a party-house rental). It is evident that Samuel really cares about keeping in good standings with the neighbors. The neighborhood was excellent for walking our dogs every day. There were six of us ranging in age from 30 to 82. No matter the age of the person in the party, everyone loved the house. We were here for five days, and never felt like we were on top of each other. There was so much room that everyone had privacy. Every single person wanted to pick this house up and transport it back to our home state!! It is a very unique layout, and we found ourselves gathering at the kitchen island or around the dining room table every day. We even did movie night in the basement theater room. This was the perfect location to access the city - literally 20 minutes to everything. Top notch shopping was a 10 minute drive away. I cannot say enough about this house. Other relatives who travelled with us for a family wedding stayed in a downtown hotel. They saw the pictures of our rental and were upset they were in a hotel room. My husband and I want to move in, that’s how much we loved it. Thank you Samuel!!! We will be back and we will stay here again.

This home was terrific! I hosted a 10-person college roommate reunion. The home is big, spacious, with lots of beds and an incredible game room in the basement. Sadly, it was in November (cold!), so we couldn't access the pond behind it. 5 stars all the way around!
