"I don't understand the bad reviews. Just stayed there for 3 nights last month, and it was awesome. Zero complaints. Property was great, the staff was perfect, and the breakfast was large and varied. Ok, so the place could use a little touch up here and there with some paint or whatever, but honestly, that's a joke of a complaint that some of the bad reviews say. Again, the hotel is awesome. "Overall it is difficult to sumarize our 3 1/2 day stay at Coral Lodge, as there were many highs and many lows. The location is very beautiful and remote. all of the 7 guest rooms are bungaloes on the pier So....we were surrounded by the sound of the waves, the sea breeze. We were able to sleep with windows open in comfort. On the other hand, the rooms had few amenities and as one would expect at this remote location, the water presure in the toilets and showers was problematic at times. The food...

"I've booked for two nights. At arrival they couldn't find our reservation to begin with. After waiting for 45 minutes the gave us a key to a room on the 1 floor. My room was the last on the corridor who was/in service. The other rooms after my room were out of service and there were safety shoes outside the room next to the open doors. In the corridor to my room ware a lot a bags with food leftovers in there corner. They stayed there for more than 30 hours. Thats how long we manage to stay...

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. The pool and deck are great to relax in and watch the waves. The restaurant food was good (need hour notice for dinner). The rooms are really rustic and ours did not have AC. Also, note that there is not a public beach on Isla Grande. We spent all day at Coconuts on the other side of island at their beach and would probably stay there if we went again. We were traveling with 2 teens. "
