"The cottage description and pictures were true. It was very well appointed. The bed linens and towels were excellent. The cottage was simply, beautifully decorated and filled with high end appliances. It is an excellent residence for a couple who want a quiet, restful retreat. However, the boat dock and kayaks were perfect for water loving sports. The host was EXCELLENT! He provided suggestions for dining and exploring the area. We’ve rented properties. "This property was amazing! We were racing at Ozarks International Raceway and it was 10-15 minutes away, pretty much as close as any other properties. It was immaculate, felt so comfortable and homey. The kitchen and living area felt a lot bigger than the pictures looked. The beds were very, very comfortable. "Cottages had everything needed. The property is beautiful - lots of trees and flora. Our furry friends enjoyed exploring the property and the small area of shallow water. We enjoyed the paddleboat and family member enjoyed the kayak. Saw deer, chipmunks, eagles, etc. Very quiet and calming."

"The area is beautiful. Couldn’t get the heater to work properly. So it was a bit chilly. My husband did want to watch a little t.v. but the sound kept messing up. The screen door was broken and my husband was very concerned about the tape around all the outlets. He didn’t feel it was safe so we didn’t stay a second night. However, if you can get passed all that, it has a nice deck, the lake is just a few feet away and it’s just very pretty and peaceful."

"Cleanliness was the only issue. Bed sheets were dirty, no toilet paper in the bathroom, no water pressure in bathroom, bathroom sink didn’t drain, and the place needs a dehumidifier in a bad way. Good location and could have been a really nice place if it was cleaner. "
