「Gorgeous hotel and pool area, rooms were spotless and modern, location was good for being close to the beach but there wasn’t a great deal going on around the hotel (I.e. restaurant or bars nearby) and the pool bar closed at 6pm, stopping serving food at 5.15. 」

「Es war alles in Ordnung. Uns hat es gefallen. Die Einrichtung war allerdings schon etwas älter. Ein wenig unglücklich war nur der Zugang zu unserem Apartment, das zwar im Erdgeschoss lag, aber durch den Architekten so gebaut war, dass man trotzdem noch ein paar Stufen hoch und runtersteigen musste um ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Mit Kinderwagen war das leider nervig. Preis-Leistung war ok für “nur Frühstück”.」

「Good food Wine not great Beer was ok Cocktails, spirits and ice creams, crisps not included in all inclusive snack bar Kids were happy with food and drink though Apartment clean and had all we need with beautiful views of the sea from balcony which we all loved. It was fair distance 20 mins from Chania and taxis did pick us up and drop us off but wait was half an hour late for drop off and long wait in unorganised queues to get back, but was do able. 「Excellent stay here. Breakfast was in included and really good. There was a restaurant at night and we really enjoyed the food. Rooms were comfortable but on the smaller side. Staff was amazing and very accommodating, beds were hard and they is down thing I think the owners should improve. Very walkable neighborhood. Beaches were 5 minutes away. Parking was easy to find. I would stay here again. 」

「Great location, perfect for the beach and all the facilities Platanias has to offer. Dimitris cannot do enough to make sure you have a great holiday. He and his staff are all very friendly and welcoming, you feel like part of the family! The apartment was modern with a lovely bathroom. 「Vi hadde rom i kjelleren. Svalt og fint, med egen terrasse ut mot hagen. Tilgang til tørkestativ så man kunne henge opp våte håndduker og badeklær ute. Aircondition på rommet - som riktig nok ikke var så enkel å forstå seg på da det alltid ble iskaldt på morgenen uansett hvilken temperatur vi hadde. God frokost for både store og små. Veldig hyggelig personale på hotellet. Rent og ryddig på fellesområdene og vaskerne var innom hver dag i ukedagene. Alltid ledig solseng ved hotellets basseng....

「The place was great. The people at the front desk, bell staff and housekeeping were the best and most helpful. Our stay was near the end of the season so the restaurant was understaffed and a little slow. On the other hand there are so many great places to eat within short walking distance it didn't really matter. Highly recommended. Next time I will split time between here and old Chania.」

「The resort is great for families with babies OR kids 4+ years. It was a huge disappointment for us that our daughter who turns 4 in two months couldn’t attend any of the kids’ club activities, even if we would’ve stayed with her. So there was not much to do, considering we visited in April when only the indoor pool was heated (mildly, still cold in my opinion) and she couldn’t spend time in any of the kids’ pools outside.
