Although the place is clean and has comfortable bed, the whole place has strong musty smell. Bathroom drain was clogged. I contacted the hosts about these issues on the first day.

Cozy Chalet
Traveling with my mom & my daugther! This bottom level chalet was very comfy & Cozy. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances & things needed (FYI it is a regular coffee maker not a Kuriq BUT filters & coffee were provided). The chalet was real cleaned. The location was Amazing. Just a quick drive into Downtown Chimney Rock & the Flowering Bridge. The owner was VERY responsive the messages and the one question we had while there. We would stay here at the chalet again!!

Great location
The chalet is located on a hillside at the west end of the "main drag" of the road that has the access to Chimney Rock. My wife and I did most of our hiking and shopping before we checked in at 6:30ish. The check-in was easy. The chalet was nice and clean. We showered and slept, then drove to Brevard via the Blue Ridge Parkway the next day. So we didn't spend much time in the chalet. But the location to Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, the shops, and brewery/dining areas were just a stone's throw away.

Great stay, great location, great amenities, great communication and description!
The informational packet provided by the hosts was extremely helpful and very thorough, and even provided recommendations for places to visit. We only had one minor issue during our stay which we were able to communicate to the hosts to resolve. The kitchen in the cabin had anything we could possibly need and we were able to easily cook multiple meals after visiting the nearby Ingles. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay while visiting Chimney Rock!
