"The staff, are excellent , kind and courteous . My car broke down and they really helped me out . The hotel is lovely, clean and modern . Breakfast is good . You do need a car to stay here as it’s a little isolated with not much around . The staff however are amazing . Nice public bath, laundry ."

"Good location overlooking the ocean, and one nice local walks on the hills and along the coast. Service was good, although food options are limited - there is a small cafe in the main hotel and a few smaller cafes within a 5 minute drive. We had the jacuzzi on the roof which was brilliant, the views are amazing. Beds are quite hard, and a bit tough for us to sleep. Kitchen is also super basic with very simple kitchen utensils, so limited ability to cook. It’s about a 45 minute drive to central...

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Itoshima is a beautiful place to visit. This hostel had everything I needed and the host, Taka-san is incredibly helpful and kind. He had helped me bring my luggage to Yamato to send to my next hotel. This hostel also attracts some interesting and fun people that enjoy nature! Would definitely return if I get the opportunity! "
