"We had a nice stay overall and tried to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenic surroundings. The canoe experience was definitely a highlight—we really enjoyed paddling down the river and taking in the peaceful nature around us. That said, there were a few things that could be improved. The directions provided through Expedia were inaccurate, and Google Maps led us to the wrong place entirely, which made getting there quite frustrating. The photos online seem to be from when the house was newly...

"Perfect place for a relaxing getaway! We paddle boarded on the Suwannee river and swam in it! Loved Hart Springs, too. Walked up and down the dirt road with our dog. Made arts and crafts on the front porch. Cooked meals together. Ate together. Laughed. Relaxed! Some recommendations- We brought our own water filter as the water there smells like sulfur! Highly recommend you do, too! The grill did not seem to work- the temperature gauge is out. So we grilled over the fire we made in the barrel....

"The Otter House is really nice, spacious and comfortable. The view of the river is spectacular. My husband fished from the dock the entire stay and caught LOTS of fish. Used nightcrawlers on the bottom. The yard was really nice for the dog. The restaurant down the street had great food. "
