"I did really enjoy my stay at the congress hotel overall, 1.st I’m going to say I love the history behind the building and the architecture. It kinda looks like the Stanley hotel on a budget while you’re walking to your room which I’m not complaining I did love the experience. 2. If you’re going here to just get creeped out please take the stairs and not the elevator, there’s a portal in the elevator (lined with mirrors) but their stair are immediately just terrifying and ominous to look at so...

"The Carleton is a lovely old place in an excellent location. You are steps from all that downtown Oak Park has to offer as well as the Green Line for trips into Chicago. It's a bit run down and could have been a bit cleaner. I appreciated the larger room with the kitchenette. "
