We stayed here last year and decided it was definately where we should come back to, especially as we would be spending about 11 nights in total either side of a Mae Hong Son Loop trip. Our room (Queen) was excellent, as before, plenty of space, storage, comfy bed, fridge, clean towels daily. However the breakfast let us down, Everytime we came down most of the food that we were looking for had not been re-stocked. One day there was no bread, no fruit salad, no yoghurt, no cups, no spoons! The ladies were busy cooking eggs so they really need more staff to keep the food topped up. The other area that let it down was the pool area. Last year there was a conservatory with a bar in the restaurant area but this has now gone and been replaced with more tables and chairs, which is fine, but it's covered up with black plastic bin liners all day, until the staff set up for the evening, so it didn't look great. No drinks or food until 5pm when they open. Also, one end of the pool overlooks a heap of old tables, fans, metal frameworks and chairs. It looked a mess. There are two plastic 'animals' on top of a small structure, they are not in keeping with Thailand... and one is hanging on by a leg - why not fix it or take it down? The pool was dirty, lots of balls of dirt gathering in the shallow area where the sunbeds sit and lots of green akgae building up on the steps into the water. No toilet paper or hand towels in the ladies at 11.30am, and the inside of the toilet door was grubby.
