「We very much enjoyed our (too brief) stay at this quaint, quirky, and comfortable inn. Steve, the host, was welcoming and makes yummy banana bread. The gardens in the back made a wonderful spot for stargazing.」

「This was a great spot right on the beach. It’s a home built in the 1800’s. The restaraunt next door is delicious. There is a small refrigerator in the room but no blow dryer. The only downside is that It is very out of the way with no stores near by and no place to get breakfast. We came on a Saturday and on Sunday morning there was no coffee available in the hallway. Not sure if they just forgot to refill the coffee station or if you’re just on your own. Otherwise we just loved the spot. 」

「Sharon and Gil were so nice, hospitable, and accommodating and I ultimately had a decent stay. I want to be sure to let other visitors know there are some things that may help align expectations, as a past guest, so you don’t get disappointed. This rental is not “brand new” anymore, and I think this listing is overdue for a revamp/ update. 「This property was just as described and the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating with answering questions. The property was comfortable, extremely clean, and nicely decorated including quality linens and towels. The location is central for walking to either side of the harbor. The guest handbook came in quite handy for finding dining referrals and miscellaneous house instructions. I highly recommend this property and these hosts as I am sure their others are as well kept. 「This cottage was perfect for our stay. It is comfortable, clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. The view down to the pond is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and charming -- we really enjoyed being in East Boothbay, as compared to the busier and more crowded Boothbay Harbor. There are several good hiking trails in the area, and so many other interesting things to do. Highly recommend! We would happily stay here again.」

「Nice, clean place. Very good kitchen and cookware. Washer and dryer were great. The only negative for us were the two futon couches - not very substantial and very uncomfortable to sit on.」
