"While this is a good location, the property and manager were incredibly disappointing. When we arrived, the lockbox was not labeled with the code given by the manager. "I left right away, stayed in hotel. House was misrepresented. Not large house, but apt, no ocean view, no TV, no 2nd bathroom, not beach front... 20 min away. Heavy musty smell which was unbearable, he said "I have no mold" his word, not mine. Entrance to place was not the front door, but through like a garage which was filled with junk,hoses,stuff. "You’ll notice so many of the reviews mention that the property is even nicer in reality than on the photos…and that is saying something because the photos are idyllic. Well the reviews are totally accurate. The house is huge! We did indulge though as we rented the entire house for ourselves (me my wife and our two cats) and there are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms! "Nice villa with easy access to everything. Short drive to Carvoeiro if you need a little more pace. A few fantastic beaches are within range. We visited in Oct. and there were a lot of flies in and around the home but the home and pool were in great shape. The host is accessible and responds quickly. A very pleasant stay."

"The apartment was exactly as it was described. The outdoor space was lovely. We had a minor issue the first day and our host, Thyl, arrived to address it within five minutes.
