“飯店環境不好，很多流浪漢，大門口有一堆垃圾，充滿垃圾味道，地鐵出入口只有樓梯，要抬大行李箱不方便，棉被太舊髒髒的，還有起毛球，有冷氣但每天要付1.5歐才能用，但服務人員態度非常友善，wifi不錯。”

“10/10!!! On arrival into Budapest I unfortunately lost my luggage and the staff at the bus station were so rude to me, I was so upset and ready to turn back and go home. When I arrived to House Oktogon my mood completely changed as I was greeted warmly by İldi who insisted that I borrow some of her personal items since I lost my luggage and even offered to call the bus company to try and help me locate my bag. She also checked on me the next day to make sure I was ok, she was incredibly kind……

“Inexpensive budget room, very well located right in the middle of things with very convenient food, bars, shops and public transport options. As a result there is quite a bit of street noise, but that did not impact our stay at all. Bed was comfortable enough and there was a table and chairs, as well as shared kitchen and laundry facilities. The only real downside was the bathroom. While it did have an ensuite, the toilet seat was damaged and had fallen off the bowl, making it somewhat……

“The room is really big and clean. Everything is prepared in the room, just like at home. The location is good. It’s onky less than 5km from the airport. Call the host before arriving the hotel or you can press the doorbell bottom when you arrive. The host helped us call taxi in the early morning. We were really appreciated!”

“Il titolare era molto gentile, unica nota positiva. Avevo prenotato una camera per 5 con bagno, mi è stato detto che ne era rimasta una sola per con 4 letti, però si poteva aggiungere un materasso.... Per terra😨. Andiamo a vedere la camera, il bagno non c'era, aveva un odore davvero sgradevole e le asciugamani sui letti erano grigie(NON ERA IL LORO COLORE).Abbiamo spiegato tutto al titolare e abbiamo chiesto di annulare il soggiorno. Unica cosa positiva, ripeto, il titolare che si è scusato……

“The hotel is convenient as it is located near the city centre and a metro station. We went to Budapest in August when the weather could go up to 40°C. However, there was no air-con in the room, but only a fan. We tried opening the window, but failed. The room was really hot. Besides, when we arrived at the airport and the apartment, we needed to call the staff so a lady could come to pick us up and give us the keys. For those who do not have a local number may need to make roaming calls which……

“Very nice place to stay and exactly what we needed for one night but very good for more. It’s close to good transport links which makes it a very convenient place to stay. The host was very helpful and polite. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”

“Un propriétaire gentil, dès l'entrée bienvenue dans l' ère communiste ( l'ascenseur: mérite le déplacement !) les chambres un désastre et la salle de douche minimaliste ( en couples dans une une chambre avec lits superposés et un lit une place dans 5,5 m2 sous pente.... Salle d'eau partagée avec 4 jeunes dont 2 qui dormaient sur la pièce palière entre chambres et salle d'eau !!!”
