Die Ausstattung der Gebrauchsgegenstände der Wohnung lässt allerdings sehr zu wünschen übrig, besonders in der Küche. Leider war auch der Gasherd erst nach der Reparatur zu benutzen und die Klimaanlage ebenfalls erst nach 2/3 des Urlaubs. Das hätte vorher geprüft werden müssen, bevor die Gäste kommen. "Our group covered friends and family aged 21 - 80+. This beautiful property had everything we needed; gorgeous views, multiple eating areas, lovely pool, fruit trees, lovely bedrooms, table tennis area, BBQ and even a pizza oven. Plus Amica, the gorgeous and adorable owners dog. The photographs do not do it justice! We had a great two weeks, and wished it could have been longer The local area is great, The hosts were charm themselves and so helpful. Top quality holiday location . "

"Although a bit challenging to locate by car, this apartment is in a perfect location. Old town is accessible by foot down a short set of stairs. If you enjoy hiking, you can access the beginning of the La Rocca trail almost immediately behind the apartment. The hike is well worth it! There are great views at the summit. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable and Giuseppe and his wife are very kind. The highlight is the large terrace overlooking most of Cefalu. The kitchen is outdoors...

"We stayed for 9 nights at the end of July 2024 and had a lovely time. The accommodation is great and large enough for a family of 9 (teens +). The host is brilliant and personally met us despite arriving at midnight. A car is needed to get to any amenities, but within a few minutes drive there are plenty of restaurants and the beaches are fabulous. Recommend a visit and boat trip from Cefalu."

"This apartment is just as advertised. Salvatore was a great host. The apartment is on the 3rd floor. No elevator, be prepared for stairs. But that makes the view spectacular. It’s a 3-5 minute walk downhill to get to Via Roma where there are shops and restaurants. The center of town is about a 15 minute walk. Walking back is uphill. It’s very doable."

"Our host was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips on the local region and keeping the attractive outside area clean. The patio and pool area looks across a mountain view, changing in the light from dawn to dusk. The apartment provided everything we needed including indoor and outdoor cooking facilities. Castelbuono is well served for bars, restaurants and points of interest. It sits in the Madonie nature reserve so is good for walking and wildlife ."

"This flat is located 3-5 minutes away from busy tourist streets, with a spectacular sea view and a great breeze, especially if you open the kitchen window. You can see the sunrise too. Decore and furniture are modern with special vintage artifacts and a gorgeous antique ceiling painting in the big bedroom. The kitchen is stocked with cooking tools, fridge, percolator for coffee, bring your own ground beans. Communication with Domenico was very easy through WhatsApp. Grazie Mille 🙂"

Our host was kind, responsive and incredibly helpful as he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. "A very well designed and located property which was well equipped. We appreciated being close to a train station and the beach. The nearby restaurants were very good. It was a great base for hiking in the Madonie mountains. The property information online seemed to suggest we were renting the whole house rather than just the ground floor.
