“We truly loved the area. The house was well equipped. Nice neighborhood. Clean kitchen, bathroom comfortable beds. Only thing, the downstairs carpet sure needs to be changed and I didn’t get check in instructions on time. Had to find the phone number in the app and call host to get check in instructions. Once I got of hold of Sophie she was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience . Otherwise we enjoyed Lower Slaughter ”

“We (my partner, and my Mum) had a lovely stay here to celebrate my Mum's birthday and really appreciated the treats left for us! Check in was super easy with the lock box. The cottage is great for 2 guests as both bedrooms have an en suite (although the upstairs/loft bedroom doesn't have a door FYI). Plenty of seating in the living area too with the sofa, armchair, and even an electric armchair which came in handy for my Mum! There was plenty of firewood left for us for a 2 night stay and we had……

“The cottage is warm and comfortable and its proximity to Bourton a definite plus. The only reason I put good instead of excellent is because the beds are not king sized as listed (as far as an American king - perhaps UK sizing is different) and although a dryer is listed as an amenity, there is only a washer w/ drying line”

“This was the perfect size and location for our short stay in Oxford. There is a bus stop directly outside of your door and it takes you right into town. Also super easy to catch a bus right back to where you’re staying! The host was extremely helpful and responsive. It also sits in a nice walkable neighborhood. Highly recommend! ”

“My colleague and I stayed here during a 4 day conference in Oxford. It was so nice to have a tranquil retreat to return to every day. We made full use of the kitchen which was well equipped. If you want a hotel-like place do not stay here. For us, it was perfect--a short walk from Oxford city centre, quiet, and backed up to a lovely creek and fields. (Of note... the seat cushions of the couch were constantly sliding off toward the floor. It was old but covered in a nice and clean blanket.)”

“The place was located in a beautiful quiet country area. The welcome and accommodation was beautiful. Tre did advise that the fridge freezer was a little noisy and suggested it be turned off at night which we did however the water recycling system was a little noisy too but other than that, an excellent stay. Thanks Tre. ”
