The houses' location, centered the county Donegal, is ideal for day trips along the Wild Atlantic Way from the Fanad Head lighthouse, to Horn Head Lookout, and Portsalon. "Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom."

"The house is beautifully renovated and is just as described in the listing photos. We loved the artwork on the walls which provided evidence of Ken and Diane's love of the sea. They were perfectly accessible to us during our stay although they were in the U.S. at the time. The off-street parking was a real plus as were the outdoor sheltered picnic table for those rainy Donegal days. The local towns of Clonmany and Buncrana, a short drive away, provide excellent shopping and entertainment...
