"The old Linlithgow Court House has been expertly repurposed into a very nice residence hotel with a very high level of fit and finish! Our room was large, airy, bright and came with all the amenities one would expect The host Jim is very helpful and friendly. The kitchen in the room came complete with eggs, milk, juice, butter and various breakfast foods and snacks! We very much enjoyed our stay."

Only con is there was a function on at the main venue that went on until mid night and we could hear the ‘doof doof roof’ of the base over the tv and also sleep sounds at max volume on my phone until then, we were in the furthered away cabin. "5 of us stayed here Monday to Thursday, we were all very impressed with the cottage, and the views around it were spectacular. There was everything you could need for a stay here. The fishing lake, just a few yards from the cottage was beautiful, even if you don't fish, was lovely to walk around. The town of Linlithgow was just a couple of miles away, with an historical palace to visit, good rail links to Edinburgh and Glasgow and good restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend these...

Set in a beautiful area with wonderful views, it is a spacious and very well-appointed apartment where everything you could hope for is provided including some delicious supplies. Having to play rock, paper, sizzors for who got a plate or fork was not enjoyable (we ended up buying our own to add to the property). I would say the kitchen lacked many elements. "This was our second stay at this property and it was just as good as the first. Just 30 mins drive from Edinburgh, and 10 mins from the Pentland Hills it's perfect for both a city and country break. Extremely dog friendly too with plenty of space to run around outside. All communication was clear and timely, and we were greeted with a bottle of wine, lovely note and flowers. We will certainly try and return for a third stay in future."
