Carmel Valley Winery Hotel

"Our group of six cyclists love Carmel Valley Lodge. Staff are very personable and helpful. The lodge has a charm that the hotel chains cannot match. The locally roasted "Fog Cutter" coffee was excellent. The included breakfast was outstanding, freshly made, and had lots of variety. We would have rated five stars, but there were a few problems. The heater thermostat had a faulty switch that required switching it on and off a few times if the temperature setting changed. New batteries were...
