Great Stay
We very much enjoyed a return trip to the Villa. Booking very straght forward. The Villa has everything you could need -a home from home. Within walking distance to centre of Trebes. Very much enjoyed pool. Geoff's welcome and toyr/explanations very much appreciated

Lovely villa in nice location
We had a lovely week in villa René. The property is very well equipped and well maintained, and the swimming pool was fantastic. It was the perfect mixture of relaxation with enough attractions close by.

Perfect stay
Villa Rene is very spacious and has everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The heated pool was lovely and the opening and closing of the cover was very simple. We were greeted by Geoff who showed us everything and explained how to use the more complicated items including the TV which you can get all the UK channels. The Gas barbecue was brilliant and the choice in the supermarkets for fresh meat, vegetables and fish were amazing. The Villa was extremely quiet and secure and the location is only a 15 minute drive to the Cité which is brilliant. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Lovely holiday in Trebes
Ideal place for a holiday close to Carcassonne, Trebe is a really lovely village on the Canal du Midi, Villa Rene is a 10 minute walk to the village, with various restaurants to chose from, a short drive to the nearest supermarket. We had a lovely holiday at Viĺla Rene we used the swimming pool daily which was a luxury, we also used the bikes at the property to cycle along the canal paths, all in all a great holiday would definitely go back again thanks Annie and Tommy.

Beautiful villa
We've had a brilliant two weeks at Villa Rene. The lovely pool was used every day for swimming and just cooling off. Loads of wildlife including swallowtail butterflies and we made friends with the geckos on the patio! Excellent location just minutes from the village. 10 minutes to Carcassonne and not much more than an hour or so to Toulouse. So much to do in the area we just ran out of time! The house was lovely and clean, well equipped and bigger than it looks on the website. Ann and Tommy were super helpful and even researched veggie options at local restaurants for us. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this villa.

Great villa
We really enjoyed our stay, the villa was exactly as described. Communication with the owners before we arrived was great and Geoff who manages it was really helpful sorting a problem for us. The inside of the villa was great, sufficient wardrobes and drawers in the bedrooms, which is often not the case in France. The above bath shower was powerful. Downstairs the sofas were comfortable, a nice dining area which we did not use as we sat outside every night. The only suggestion would be perhaps to have a second fridge in the garage which would be useful for keeping additional drinks cold. Outside the pool was fantastic. The seating area was lovely. Although on a residential street, it was lovely and quiet with friendly neighbours (although the villas either side were both empty during our two weeks). It is a short trip down to the centre (0.65 miles), easy on the way down but uphill on the way back. We enjoyed walking down for breakfast and baguettes in the mornings. We went down for food a few evenings alongside the canal du midi. Our favourite places we ate were the fish restaurant by the canal (who do a good non fish/veggie option) and the Moroccan restaurant which is tucked away but worth a visit. There are a couple of medium sized supermarkets on the edge of the village which are useful and a large one on the edge of Carcassonne a short drive away (10 mins).

This property was clean and well-appointed in a quiet neighborhood. The surrounding area has plenty of diverse things to see. Oh and there's that great pool too. We would stay again. Neil & Teresa

Excellent facilities
The house was very well equipped, they had thought of everything you would need. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short but the time we spent in the house was brilliant, the weather wasn’t good enough to tryout the heated pool. The walk into the village was about a twenty minute stroll, there was a bar open all day and several restaurants open from 7pm which is normal for France.

Nice little house on the outskirts of the village. 10 min walk to canal and village centre. Nice walks along both ways of the canal. House is well equipped and comfy, although for us the beds were a bit too low. Good to have the pool but to be honest we found the cover to be a bit of a faff so didn’t use it very often. Good communication with both the owners and property manager.

Great Base to visit the region

Set in a quiet area of Trebes,but central for going to Carcassonne, Narbonne, or the small towns like Lagrass. The villa is quite large and very clean,well equipped. We only tried the heated pool once as it was quite a cool wind in the afternoons and we were busy all our stay. Very near some good restaurants younger guests could walk to. Would stay again if in the area.

A Southern France Getaway
Villa Rene is a very nice modern house in a residential area just outside of the town centre of Trebes. It is a great spot for friends and family, especially when it is warm and sunny and you can use the private pool. The Villa is well equipped and we cooked some of our meals rather than going out every night. The main attraction in Trebes is the canal du midi, a very pretty waterway which you can walk or bike beside for miles. We visited near the end of September to mid-October, the weather was nice but swimming was pretty limited. There are lots of things to do and see in the area. We really enjoyed many of the small villages, the Lastour Cathar Castle and the Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine.

Fabulous stay in Trebes!
We had a wonderful time at Villa Rene, thanks Anne and Tommy! Communication was great and Geoff, the handyman, explained everything when we arrived. The villa is so well equipped, we didn't want for anything. Clean, spacious and beautifully decorated inside; the garden and pool were just fantastic! Within a short walk you can reach the restaurants by the Canal du Midi, we particularly liked the Poissonerie Moderne. Trebes is beautiful and perfectly situated for exploring the Carcassonne area and the coast beyond Narbonne. We would highly recommend Villa Rene and hope to come back again.

Relaxing stay in Trèbes. Great villa with pool for hot days!
The villa had everything listed and is set in a wonderful location. A short walk into both town Andy countryside with vineyards a plenty. The towns local restaurants provide a good selection of food choices, and the property has a bbq for those warm evenings. For people wishing for a more active holiday the property does have bikes, and there is also bike hire in the town. Having the canal du midi so close by is great for both cycling and walking! Really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly consider coming back again as it was everything we hoped for and more!

This was a great property with plenty of room. Pool was a great size and there was lots of space around it. Villa was well furnished with everything we needed for our stay. Great to have towels provided. its in a good location ... handy for visiting Carcassonne and had good supermarkets / restaurants within easy reach of the villa.

Wonderful villa in great location
The villa had everything we needed to have a fabulous holiday. The children loved the pool and it was a great size - brilliant to be able to cool off during the hot weather. Trebes is a lovely little town. I used the bikea daily to get our croissants from the bakery and we had a lovely bike ride along the Canal du Midi. Villa is well located for seeing castles and abbeys in this beautiful part of France. I'd highly recommend this villa and location.

Would have awarded five stars plus if it was possible! We had a truly amazing and relaxing holiday, the villa was exceptional with everything we needed and more. We lazed around the pool most days, the weather was brilliant considering we went so late in the season and we came home looking as if we had spent a month in the tropics! Loved Trèbes, such a quaint place with plenty of places to enjoy a delicious evening meal and a leisurely walk along the canal afterwards. Tommy and Anne were amazingly helpful and always responded quickly to our emails as well as allowing us access to the villa a day earlier than anticipated,thanks again both of you. Geoff was very helpful and gave us plenty of information on places to visit. We are still reminiscing about our holiday and would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Rene and a Trèbesto anyone considering a ho.iday in France..

Clean, comfortable and convenient for local restaurants and also Carcassonne airport.
Very clean villa with everything you need for a good holiday. Weather was perfect, which made the (chilly) pool very welcome after hot days in the sun. Local amenities (bread / restaurants) a short walk (10 mins) away. Bicycles available (childs and adults) for exploring the Canal du Midi paths, and local tracks through the vineyards. Carcassonne an easy 15/20 min drive away, with excellent parking facilities handy for both the shopping areas and the "cite". The computer and wi-fi access were an added bonus for checking out local roads and routes. All in all an excellent "base" whether exploring or relaxing. Would highly recommend. Aug/Sept 2018

Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast und haben uns hier wohlgefühlt. Von Trèbes aus kann man viele schöne Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung unternehmen - und dann den Abend unten am Hafen ausklingen lassen.
