"Overall very good but wish they had hot water pot in rooms. "

"Booked a superior lake view room. View was amazing and room was spacious and clean. Hotel is opposite lake with ferry just in front and buses just around the corner. Plenty of restaurants within meters of the hotel. Buffet breakfast was good but I expected better considering it's a medium size 4 star hotel. A few more hot options apart from just bacon and eggs would have been good. Overall a good place to stay. "

"The hotel was good. There's a lot of construction at the moment across the street (where our window opened out to) and so that is quite loud. They couldn't give us two room keys at check in because they had no extra keys and that made our first day very difficult (one must have a key to turn on lights in the room but my companion wanted to go out in the evening and with only one key, I was left in the dark). We managed to get another room key the next day when they replenished their key cards."

"Super breakfirst and first class dining menu with a keen interest in healthy diets. Great local wine lisst. The pool is big and the area is nice to take a day to stay by."

"Unfortunately we arrived in the dark during a thunderstorm, and parking was not easy. It's a very steep driveway leading to two different parking lots with virtually no space to turn around. All that said, the room was comfy despite some harsh pin lights in the floor shining upwards that we placed shoes over to "dial down", the check-in staff was friendly, and the views from the pool area were beautiful. Hopefully I can return when it's not raining and use the pool."

"In Lugano on our way to the Swiss Alps, we experienced a delightful surprise staying at Hotel Splendide. Stunning property, close to shops and dining and beautiful Lake Lugano. Highly recommend!"
